After the marriage of their son, Amgad, Nabila shocks Hamdy by her desire to divide the apartment between them in preparation for the separation. The couple begins to agree on the form of their relationship in the future.

Hamdy turns to his kids in an attempt to dissuade Nabila from her decision to divide the apartment. As Murad informs Fahim of Nabila's separation from Hamdy, they begin to spy on them, while the kids support Nabila's wish.

Things turn upside down at Nabila and Hamdy's apartment, as workers come to divide the place. When Hamdy suffers after the electricity goes out on his side, Nabila refuses to let him enter her side.

Fahim holds an auction to sell old furniture to the residents of the building. As Ragaa comes to visit Hamdy, the matter causes a quarrel with Nabila.

As Hamdy decides to sell his old furniture in Fahim's auction, the auction fails because customers are not satisfied with the stuff displayed.

After the death of the chairman of the building’s board of directors, elections are held to choose a new president. Hamdy decides to run for the elections after discovering Nabila’s candidacy, but Nabila wins the total votes.

As Nani asks Amgad for a divorce, Hamdy and Nabila try to resolve the matter. But disputes between the rest of their sons and their wives erupt, causing the winds of divorce to spread throughout the house.

Khadija visits Hamdy with a charlatan to do a spell so that Nabila returns to him. But when Nabila finds out about it, she plots to turn the tables on him.

Samira and Sayed make an offer to get Hamdy's half from the apartment in exchange for moving to their small apartment. As the sons clash, thinking that greed is behind Samira's offer, the deal fails.

As Hamdy decides to give private lessons to the students in his half of the apartment, he discovers that he's being exploited by the students, who only come to eat and spend time with each other.

Fahim devises a plan to bring Nabila back with Hamdy by sending bouquets of roses in his name and stirring her jealousy. But the plan soon fails, as Hamdy falls ill due to his allergy to roses.

Hamdy suffers from his former student Fatima, who chases after him and claims that she loves him. When Nabila finds out, she accuses Hamdy of having relationships with girls as young as his own kids.

Bradis tries to find out the secret of her daughter Fatima's attachment to Hamdy. When Perry goes to meet Hamdy, she catches his eye. Nabila exposes Hamdy by telling their children that he's in a relationship with a teenage girl.

As Bradis goes to the private part of Hamdy's apartment to work on the interior designs of his section, Nabila suspects there is a relationship between them. Hamdy takes advantage of the situation to make her jealous.

Nabila wins the grand prize in Karakeeb Channel and gets the opportunity to present a cooking show. As the channel comes to film the program at her apartment, her children and neighbors seize the opportunity to appear on the show.

As Nabila appears as a guest on a program on Karakeeb channel after her fame, she begins to tarnish Hamdy's image and talk about the difficulties she went through in her marriage to him.

When Nabila cooks molokhia, Hamdy's suffering begins, as he misses eating it in light of their separation.

As Nabila begins to present her cooking program, she attacks Hamdy in various ways. When Hamdy asks to marry Bradis, she stipulates that he divorces Nabila.

Hamdy begins to search for work to meet Bradis's demands to marry her. Nabila is shocked after discovering Hamdy's desire to marry.

Nabila causes a wedge between Hamdy and his sons when she tells them that he has a great fortune that he will give to Bradis. The marriage between Hamdy and Bradis is further complicated.

Hamdy receives a call from Samira, his old college sweetheart. As the couple agrees to meet, he discovers that she is no longer beautiful like she used to be. Hamdy tries to get rid of her, only to bump into another colleague named Sona, which complicates matters.

As Nabila faces smear campaigns in her program by Ragaa, the channel tries to convince her in various ways to continue presenting the program. Bradis is shocked because Hamdy's sons refuse her presence in his life.

As Nabila receives an offer to write her biography, she begins writing her story from childhood till her marriage to Hamdy. After publishing the book, Hamdy discovers that Nabila stole his diaries and put her name on it.

When a security guard at the club proposes to Fatima, Hamdy and Bradis try to persuade her to change her mind. As Fatima meets his family, she discovers that their marriage is not going to work out.

As Nabila presents a sports program, the channel does not have the rights to major championships, so she resorts to broadcasting a Ramadan tournament. When Nabila attacks the audience, they end up holding a demonstration against her.

When Hamdy gets sick, Nabila refuses to help him, so Osama resorts to hiring a nurse to take care of him. But she clashes with Nabila because of her constant singing and the latter's jealousy.

Nabila tries to prevent her sons, Osama and Amgad, from taking other wives, while Hamdy discovers Sayed's desire to take a second wife.

Hamdy and Nabila try to deal with Thurayia's desire to get married despite her young age. The couple is shocked when the Master proposes to marry her.

When Hamdy tells Fahim that he misses Nabila and wants to return to her, Fahim tries to keep them apart, as he submits a malicious complaint against Nabila accusing her of selling food from her home without permits.

During a live TV program, Hamdy surprises Nabila with his presence and his desire to return to her. As their separation comes to an end, the apartment returns as it was before.
