The events revolve around Ahlam, who is married to her cousin Saeed, and they have a son and a daughter. As her husband is on the run from a blood feud in Upper Egypt, the problems start when her husband dies, and the owner of the ranch she works for is killed, and she is accused of killing him. She runs away with her children to Upper Egypt to live with her uncle, Abdel Aal.
