A child is born into a broken family, where his father beats his mother and mistreats him, leaving a deep psychological impact on him. Then his parents separate, and he stays with his father, who marries a second woman, but he runs away and is raised by another family. He tries throughout his life to free himself from the material or psychological shackles, until he discovers where his mother and siblings are.
