Riyad and Magda are in love, while her neighbor Hossam wants to marry her, but she refuses. Magda's brother Adel runs away from home after failing in his studies.
Hossam plots with his friend Galal to take revenge on Riyad and tarnish his image in front of Magda in order to come between them. Adel works in selling stolen and smuggled goods, and his roommate Amer tries to lure him into working in drug trade, and Adel is arrested.
Riyad helps Abu Adel (Adel's father) find his son at the police station, and the detective releases the latter so he can track down the smuggling ring. Galal steals a box from Riyad’s house containing money and Magda’s letters to him.
Galal burns Abu Adel's farm to prevent Riyad from proposing marriage to Magda. Abu Samer tries to contact Adel again to get him to join his gang.
Hossam's mother asks for Magda's hand in marriage for her son, but Magda refuses. Naguib agrees to work with Adel without the latter knowing that he is a drug dealer. Rajaa grows suspicious of the source of her brother Galal's money.
Abu Adel dies in the hospital, and his son returns home to support his mother and sister Magda in their grief.
Adel insists on returning to the city and working with Naguib again, and Magda asks Riyad to postpone their marriage plans.
Naguib and his wife Nadia agree on a plan regarding the new shipment of drugs. Hossam and Galal plant weapons in Riyad's car and report him to the police.
Rizk informs Naguib of the delivery date of the shipment. As the police's interrogation of Riyad continues, Hossam takes advantage of the latter’s imprisonment and asks his mother to ask again for Magda’s hand in marriage for him.
Hossam blackmails Magda and Adel, bargaining with them not to expose Adel and his trade in stolen gold in exchange for his marriage to Magda.
The police search for Adel, who tries to sneak into his mother's house to tell her of his innocence. Naguib decides to travel and assigns Amer to manage his business.
Galal steals gold from Adel's mother's house and the latter believes that the thief is Adel. After his quarrel with Amer, Adel quits and takes a new job at Qasim's furniture showroom.
Magda discovers that Galal has stolen her mother's gold, so she files a report with the police. Galal's sister overhears his conversation with Hossam and his confession to burning Abu Adel's farm.
Galal's sister scolds him for what he did and tries to convince him to turn himself in to the police so that Riyad can be released. Adel likes Naguib's daughter, Nisreen.
The police investigate Amer's death in his apartment. Riyad's grandfather finds the loot box buried in the ground, and Magda suspects Galal of stealing the box.
The police arrest Galal and question him on charges of theft. Naguib's wife suffers a heart attack and her daughter Nisreen takes her to the hospital.
Hossam's mother insists on returning the remaining stolen items to Adel's mother. Galal confesses to plotting with Hossam to burn the farm and rob Riyad.
Nisreen tries to find out the truth about her father's trade and the reason for Adel's imprisonment, and Riyad is released from prison.
Riyad appoints a lawyer to defend Adel, and the latter is released. Nadia receives a letter from her husband, Naguib, telling her that he will not return to the country for fear of being arrested.
Riyad marries Magda, and amidst everyone's joy, his grandfather dies. On the other hand, Nadia threatens to report Naguib to the police if he does not return.
Magda is upset that Adel has returned to Nisreen. Riyad quarrels with his aunt over her demanding her inheritance from his grandfather. Naguib returns from abroad, and Nisreen confronts him about the police searching for him.
Riyad tries to advise Adel to look for a job so that he can marry Nisreen. Naguib is upset by Nadia’s threats to him and decides to open a new company and transfer its ownership to Nadia and Nisreen.
The police monitor Naguib's house and plan with Adel to trap him, then they arrest him, while Magda and Riyad's wedding takes place.
