Ehsan asks to marry Soraya Khanum, but she refuses. Akkash's gang attacks and kills a military man, so Ismail Pasha asks the townspeople to volunteer to fight Akkash.
Abdul Rahim's wife gives birth to a boy, while Abdul Rahim is punished for delaying the guard duty of Ismail Pasha. Soraya insists not to marry Ehsan, and Abdul Rahim is accused of stealing wheat and is taken to prison.
Abdul Rahim's father tries to plead with Ismail Pasha to take Abdul Rahim out of prison. Ismail begins Soraya's wedding preparations. Abdul Rahim befriends another prisoner, and Ismail insists on keeping his relationship with a secret squad. Akkash plans a raid on Azaz road.

The Ottoman forces are surprised by an attack from Palestine, and the Yuzbashi becomes under Akkash's thumb, but he flees. The Arab army is at the gates, and Nazem decides to flee outside Syria.
The farmers attack the Ottoman seat of power in the village, while Hussein asks to marry Zahra, and Akkash intercedes for him. The farmers then gather in front of Ismail Pasha's house and he tries to please them, and Akkash faces Ismail Pasha.
Nadim returns to his home and discovers that his mother has died. Akkash decides to buy a piece of land and cultivate it. He also tries to find a way to marry Soraya so he decides to ask her hand in marriage, but they both have to find a way to consult with Ismail.
Soraya decides to leave the palace with Akkash, get married to him officially, and work with him in the field. Ismail disavows her and warns his wife not to visit her in Akkash's house.
The farmers pray the rain prayer and their prayers are answered. Soraya contemplates buying a new land, Ismail allies with the Arab authority, and Abdul Rahim returns home.
Abdul Rahim discovers that his wife's brother has married her off to another man. Assem tries to get Soraya after her marriage to Akkash, but he fails when Akkash confronts him. Akkash then gets imprisoned and Soraya tries to get him out of prison.
Akkash and Soraya buy new land to increase their holdings. As the condition of Wafaay, the disabled brother of Soraya, gets worse, he asks to see his sister. Soraya decides to take him to live with them in their home.
Soraya is pregnant, and Ismail requires to return Wafaay to the palace in exchange for allowing Soraya to visit him once a week. Soraya gives birth to her child and they call him Hamza, and everyone celebrates the birth.
Fahima's husband is fed up with her complaints after Abdul Rahim's return. Ismail buys weapons from abroad and stores them, gives a speech to the farmers, and implicitly insults Akkash. Akkash is unjustly arrested on charges of trying to kill the Pasha.
All the farmers decide to help Soraya with the harvest. Abdul Rahim goes to meet Aisha, the sister of one of his cellmates, and immediately admires her. He also tries to intercede for Akkash with Ismail, and Akkash is subjected to investigation.
Soraya gives birth to another child, while Ismail orders someone to burn Akkash's land. Nadim responds by burning Ismail's land and is arrested for that, while Abdul Rahim tries to mediate with Nazem to release Akkash.
Ismail admits that he has burned the harvest of Akkash and tries to compensate his daughter. The Arab authority abandons Ismail, the French intervention in Syria escalates, and the district office decides to release Akkash and Nadim.
Syria is under French occupation, and Nadim struggles as his wife suffers from her memories of the Turks slaughtering her people until she dies.
Abdul Rahim is arrested on charges of espionage against the French army. Hamida serves Nadim after the death of his wife Maryam. Suhail's, the singer of Ismail Pasha, attempts to win Hamida's heart go in vain. Akkash decides to stay to take care of his land and his family.
Nadim goes to participate in the war, while Akkash grieves that he has not responded to the call to join in the fight. Suhail asks Ismail to help him marry Hamida.
Abdul Rahim is confined in the mental hospital and a plan is devised to smuggle him. Ismail orders to marry Suhail to Hamida despite her refusal, while Wafaay escapes from the palace, and Soraya finds him dead.
Abdul Rahim asks to marry Aisha, while the French authorities look for him everywhere. Fahima asks for a divorce from her husband after she's fed up living with him and she returns to her hometown with her father.
Suhail escapes from the palace and works for Shakiba after Ismail ordered his marriage to Hamida. The Turks stop supporting the revolutionaries, and Nadim is killed during his war with the French.
Akkash is found wounded, and Soraya carries him home to heal him. Soraya decides to buy a new land, while the French authorities look for Suhail to return him to the village to marry Hamida.
The French forces find Suhail and return him to the village, and Hamida agrees to marry him. Nazem tries to find a way to get him out of Ismail's slavery and pay him money to free him.
Captain Louis tries to find a charge against Nazem and he decides to close his newspaper and then move out of Syria. The fighter Ibrahim Hanano is been tried, while Soraya's brother returns from France.
Soraya decides to enroll her son in education, and Assem becomes angry when he sees Soraya planting on the land. Sultan Pasha Al-Atrash declares the revolution against the French. Soraya feels jealous when she sees Akkash talking with his old sweetheart.
Akkash and Soraya reconcile and return home, while the revolution breaks out in Syria against French colonialism. As Nazem is arrested, Madame Sabita tries to find a solution for him. He then is released after serving his sentence, and Akkash feels frustrated at the death of his comrades.
