After serving his 12-years sentence in jail, Farag is released, and he vows revenge on Abdullah for sending him to prison. Nasima recalls when Abdullah left her and married Fawzya; she and Farah decide to inform Fawzya that Abdullah married Nawal.

Abdullah is shocked to see Fawzya during his and Nawal's honeymoon. Fawzya hires Farag at the company. Nasima asks Fawzya to look after her son. Fawzya insists on getting a divorce when she learns that Abdullah used the procuration she wrote him to seize half of her property.

Fawzya runs the company herself. Abdullah asks Fawzya to pay him a quarter of a million dinars to divorce her, but she draws a scheme with Farag. Farag looks after Salem.

Farag suspects that Mona the secretary is in cahoots with Abdullah. He asks his sister Nasima to get closer to Fawzya, as he wants to marry her to seize her fortune.

Abdullah has a heart attack when he learns that Fawzya married Farag. Salem, Fawzya's son, is skeptical when Farag starts to mistreat him. Abdullah tries to convince Fawzya that Farag wants her no good.

Abdullah takes his son Salem to stay with him, but Abdullah's stepmother, Nawal, also mistreats Salem. Nasima tells Nawal that Fawzya wants her and Abdullah to have a divorce.

Nawal accuses Salem of stealing her gold, and of being sent by his mother to stir discord between Nawal and Abdullah. Salem returns to his mother's. Nasima tries to instill in Fawzya that she has a mental disorder. Salem runs away.

As Farag learns that Abdullah has left all his fortune to Salem, when Abdullah passes away, Farag plots to get rid of Salem to get his money.

Farag falsely claims that Salem is dead. Fawzya gets her son's money, while Salem secretly visits his mother's house.

Farag and Nasima resume their plot to convince Fawzya that she is mentally unstable in order to seize her money.

Farag admits Fawzya into a mental institution and claims that she traveled abroad for treatment. Gom'aa is released and he crosses paths with Farag. Salem and his friends are arrested. Gom'aa proposes to Nasima.

Farag rejects the idea of Gom'aa marrying his sister Nasima, and he plots to send Farag to jail. As year go by, Farag's daughter grows up. Salem leaves the juvenile rehabilitation center and goes by the name Adnan.

When Salem goes to his mother's house, Farag and Nasima banish him. Farag gets Fawzya out of the mental institution. Salem enlists his friends' help to find his mother, but Farag incites Jassem against Salem.

Salem tries to kill Farag, and Journalist Ahmed sympathizes with him and promises to help him expose Farag. Farag's daughter, Sou'ad, tries to find out the truth about her father and Salem. When Gom'aa leaves prison, he blackmails Farag.

Salem visits his mother at the hospital, and together they return home. Sou'ad tries to uncover her father's past. Nasima learns that Farag wrote over his fortune to his daughter Sou'ad. Farag and Gom'aa are arrested.
