Rashid disagrees with his wife, Maryam, because she neglects the house and is not present. Meanwhile, Mubarak loves Hanadi, who does not pay any attention to his feelings.

Maryam worries because her daughter Nawal is not yet married. Sultan is upset that his wife Mona does not visit his mother. Maryam quarrels with Mubarak for taking their son Nawaf without her knowledge.

Ibrahim's father scolds his wife Najat for treating Ibrahim badly. Najat convinces Maryam to visit Umm Abbas to read her fortune to fix things between her and her husband Rashid. Mona exhausts her husband Sultan with her requests.

Najat helps Maryam put a spell on Rashid to control him. Sultan resents Mona's neglect of their daughter academically.

Issa refuses to meet his daughter Fayza and avoids supporting her financially. Khaled tries to get close to Fayza, but her mother rejects him. Mona seizes Sultan’s money.

Salwa asks Issa to take care of his daughter, while Nawal asks Maryam to look after him during his illness. Maryam kicks Mubarak out of the house.

Issa gambles and refuses to provide for his daughter. He also asks Sultan to return the money he borrowed from him. Khaled tells his brother Jassem of his love for Fayza.

Nawal seeks to mend things between her and her parents after a verbal argument between them. Khaled informs Ali of his decision to marry Fayza without his family’s knowledge.

Mona asks Sultan to sell his mother's house so she can buy a house in Lebanon. Khaled asks his friend's father to impersonate his father Rashid in order to help him betroth Fayza.

Khaled falsely claims to his family that he is traveling so that he can marry Fayza, and he asks his father for money to start a project with his friends. Rashid suffers a heart attack and is taken to the hospital following a quarrel with his children.

Mona falsely claims to Umm Sultan (Sultan's mother) that her son is involved in debts that could put him in prison so that she would sell the house. Khaled's treatment of Fayza changes for the worse.

Fayza tells her mother that Khaled's family does not know about their marriage, while Sultan is forced to sell his mother's house after Mona threatens him with bank checks.

Khaled treats Fayza harshly and mocks her father and her poor family, while Mona treats Umm Sultan badly after selling the house and seizing Sultan's money.

Nawal discovers that Mubarak is her cousin, and that Umm Sultan is his aunt. After Maryam discovers that Khaled is married to Fayza, she forces him to divorce her. Rashid suffers a heart attack and is taken to the hospital.

Rashid dies in the hospital, and Issa threatens Khaled for divorcing Fayza, who discovers she is pregnant.

Nawal tells her siblings about their kinship with Mubarak, and Umm Fayza tells Maryam that her daughter is pregnant with Khaled's baby in an attempt to gain her sympathy.

Mubarak wants to betroth his cousin and refuses to file a lawsuit against Maryam to claim his inheritance.

Issa bargains with Khaled over his return to Fayza in exchange for convincing Sultan not to file a lawsuit to claim Mubarak’s entitlement to the inheritance. Maryam asks Najat to look for a bride for Khaled.

Maryam insists on betrothing Manal to Khaled despite Jassem's love for her. Mona convinces Umm Sultan to support Mubarak in his case against Maryam's family.

Umm Khaled rejects Mubarak's request to marry her daughter, while Issa blackmails Umm Khaled for money in exchange for convincing Sultan not to file a lawsuit against them in favor of Mubarak.

Maryam resorts to a charlatan, believing that Nawal is under a spell, while Issa succeeds in convincing Maryam to give him money in exchange for finding out all the information about Mubarak’s case.

Issa asks Umm Fayza to marry him, and with Mubarak refusing to file a case against Maryam’s family, Sultan decides to file an interdiction case against Mubarak. The police arrest Nawaf on charges of forging pictures of girls and blackmailing them with them.

Hamad proposes to Hanadi; Jassem starts his job at his father's company; Maryam insists on Khaled marrying Manal.

As Maryam decides to run the company herself, she discovers that Rashid has transferred ownership of all of his property to her. Khaled marries Manal, and Hanadi's engagement party takes place.

Mubarak is upset about Hanadi's engagement to someone else, and agrees to file a case against Maryam's family. Manal resents Khaled's harsh treatment of her.

Sultan takes advantage of Maryam's quarrel with Mubarak and asks him to stay at his mother's house. Manal leaves the house after she discovers Khaled's previous marriage and that he is expecting a child.

Issa discovers that he is infected with AIDS and that he transmitted the disease to his wife, Umm Fayza. Their daughter gives birth, and the lawyer suggests to Mubarak that he propose marriage to Nawal.

Issa and his wife are placed in quarantine. Khaled takes care of Fayza and asks her to return to him after she gives birth to their child, and he divorces Manal.

Nawal marries Mubarak. A tragic accident occurs to Nawaf. Sultan's psychological condition worsens due to Issa's infection with AIDS.

Mona kicks Umm Sultan out of the house, so she is forced to stay at Nawal and Mubarak's house. Maryam forgives Mubarak and her son Khaled and welcomes them into her home.
