In the village of Umm Al-Tanafis, when the police chief receives information on a robbery that is to target Saleh's shop, he acts accordingly to catch the gang before they carry out their plan. However, it turns out he has acted upon a false alarm.

When Jouda Abu Khamis learns that As'aad is to open up a new shop, he gets jealous and decides to prevent it, by hook or by crook.

As'aad and his wife sense that there's a burglar outside their house, but this turns out to be a prank pulled by Jouda to prove to everyone how much of a coward As'aad is. When his foul prank is discovered, Jouda lies about his house being burgled as well.

When a casting team arrives in the village and examines Jouda's house to see whether they can film a historical series there, As'aad is chosen for the key role.

As'aad and Jouda plot to carry out a smuggling operation across the Turkish borders using donkeys, but their wives warn them against it.

Jouda's brother calls from Damascus, and the mediator tells Jouda it's urgent. It turns out Jouda's brother wants to sell his share in the house.

Jouda is envious of As'aad who has a cow that has a high milk yield and laments his terrible lot in life. When he tries to poison the cow, it survives, much to his distress.

As'aad is arrested the night he is on watch, and what follows is a set of implications where As'aad frames Jouda, and Jouda frames Al-Mokhtar.

When an electoral candidate enlists the help of Jouda and As'aad to hang up election posters across the village, the people of the village enlist the aid of said candidate to solve their problems.

After a fire breaks out, Adel disappears in mysterious circumstances. Believing that Adel has died in the fire, the chief decides to search for his dead body.

When As'aad suffers an excruciating pain in his kidneys, he discovers that he has an extra kidney and decides to sell it.

As'aad and Jouda quarrel over a piece of land when Jouda takes over an area of one meter of As'aad's land.

When Al-Mokhtar sees his daughter with As'aad's brother-in-law, he beats him up. But the guy tells Al-Mokhtar that he intends to wed his daughter.

When As'aad and Jouda go on a hunting trip, they find a priceless hunt and decide to keep it for themselves.

Several doctors vaccinate As'aad's chicken against Avian influenza and start an awareness campaign to teach the people how to protect themselves and their animals.

As'aad's brother-in-law is left in a tight spot when his sweetheart Afaf gets engaged to an engineer. Heavy-hearted, he refuses to eat, and As'aad tries to figure a way to help him out.

When Al-Mokhtar finds his daughter Afaf with As'aad's brother-in-law once more, he beats him up and vows revenge.

On his way back home after a hunting trip, As'aad crosses paths with a group of lost tourists and decides to take them to the village.

When news spreads about the district chief being sent to another village, the people grow worried about who will succeed him and they try to persuade him to stay.

Selim tells Afaf that he cannot study his lessons well, and the only way for him to focus is by marrying her in secret, despite her father's disapproval.

Jouda and As'aad learn that Abu Nader (Nader's father) has been sent on a secret mission that concerns them and they try to find out more about it.

When As'aad confronts a hyena and gets severely injured, the people celebrate his chivalry, much to Jouda's surprise.

When a businessman decides to start investing in the village, Al-Mokhtar and the people think of a way to make use of the situation and sell the village at the highest cost possible.

Two unrelated quarrels take place; the first between As'aad's and his wife and sister-in-law, and the second between Jouda and his wife who have a dispute over tea and she decides to leave the house.

On superior orders, the district chief decides to have a naval landing and establish a huge ambush at the lake around the village. Both Jouda and As'aad try to find more about the reason they are doing this.

Al-Mokhtar tries to keep his seal at a safe place so it won't fall into the wrong hands, but when it goes missing, he lands in trouble.

As Jouda stays at his brother's for a week, As'aad waits for him to return. However, when Jouda returns, he states that he wants to go on a long journey.
