Boulay succeeds in winning a tender, enraging his rivals, after which he conveys the good news to his partner, El Adrosi.
Boulay's rivals try to persuade his assistant, Abu Minqar, to work with them against Boulay, but he refuses. El Adrosi asks for the hand of Shamma, Boulay's daughter, in marriage, despite the great age gap between them.
Abu Srour convinces Boulay to agree to Shamma's marriage to El Adrosi in exchange for Boulay's marriage to Shomoukh, El Adrosi's sister, after which the wedding ceremony takes place.
El Adrosi gets upset with the many requests of Shamma, who accuses him of being miserly and gives him a hard time about his old age, while Abu Srour convinces Boulay to use his wife's money in trade.
Boulay rebukes his partner El Adrosi for working with his competitors in the market, after which he opens a beauty salon for Shamma and Shomoukh.
As the beauty salon project fails, Shomoukh and Shamma set up a project to raise and sell chickens.

As El Adrosi falls ill, everyone tries to intercede with Boulay to make him agree to Shamma's return to her husband, but he insists on refusing.
Boulay is forced to sell his house in order to pay off his debt to Shomoukh, after which he gives money to his son to establish a company with Ghada.
Shamma and her mother get into a car accident. A quarrel erupts between Ghada and Ali over the company's expenditures.
Ali asks his father for a large sum of money, and he is forced to sell his mother's house. Meanwhile, quarrels break out between Boulay and his wife Dalal over the household expenses.
Boulay buys a boat to work at sea and does not tell anyone about his destination. Abu Marwa (Marwa's father) offers to partner up with Ali in exchange for a share in his mother's house.
Dalal gets upset about Boulay's traveling and long absence, while Abu Minqar tells him that his wife, Dalal, is pregnant.
As Boulay returns home, he settles in his job at his son's company, while Yaqoub suspects Ghada's work at the company.
Fasker and Abu Minqar ask Boulay to give them the boat to work on. Shomoukh decides to undergo an operation to restore her sight.
As Shomoukh undergoes the surgical operation, her eyesight returns. Youssef confesses his love to Ghada. Dalal gives birth to her first child.

Ali confesses his love to Marwa, while Ghada resents Youssef's interference all the time in the affairs of the company, and Shamma's uncle wishes to marry Shomoukh.
As Ghada tries to come between Marwa and Ali, she agrees with her cousin to spread a rumor about Marwa's company violating the building code. Ghada also tells Bu Othman that she loves someone other than Youssef.
Abu Srour asks Boulay to agree to his marriage to Shomoukh. Ali tries to find out the person who drove a wedge between him and Marwa, and tells Youssef about this.
After Ali betroths Marwa, Ghada gets upset, agrees to marry Youssef, and, at the same time, agrees with Saud to sabotage Marwa and Ali's company.
Abu Srour dies before his marriage to Shomoukh. Ghada submits her resignation from Ali and Youssef's company.
Maajoun and Daham ask Boulay to make use of Abu Srour's shop after his death. As Youssef discovers Ghada and Saud's relationship, Ghada falsely claims that Saud set her up and informs Abu Marwa of this. An unknown gang kidnaps both Boulay and El Adrosi.
With the help of Youssef and Ali, the police manage to arrest the gang. Boulay returns to his home, after which Ali marries Marwa. Boulay asks Abu Marwa to forgive Ghada.
