It follows the lives of Damascene families after the Battle of Maysalun, as the entire neighborhoods are on alert to repel the harm that befalls them after the overwhelming chaos caused by the news of the entry of French forces into Syria. In light of this anticipation, we see the Levant, with its people still doing what they are accustomed to doing of reuniting.
