Umm Mansour (Mansour's mother) refuses to sell the property she owns and scolds her son, Mansour, for being controlled by his wife, Jawaher, who insists on selling the property and threatens to leave the house. Huda's uncle seizes her inheritance on the pretext of managing it. Yasser betroths Hind.
Jawaher refuses that her son marry Hind. She also tries to come between Mansour and his brother, Mahmoud, and asks for Huda's hand in marriage for Yasser. On the other hand, Huda's uncle insists on taking her to live with him.
As Yasser looks for a job, his father tries to help him. Umm Mansour falls ill and is forced to live in her son's house with his wife, Jawaher, who takes advantage of this and tries to persuade her to give her son the money to buy a villa for them.
Yasser gets a job, whereupon his grandmother advises him to prepare to marry his cousin amid his mother Jawaher's rejection of that idea, and her sister advises her not to try to come between Mansour and his family.
Yasser makes progress in his job, while his mother tries to persuade him to leave his cousin. As a problem arises between Yasser's company and his father's, the latter tries to solve it. Umm Mansour agrees to sell the building.
Awatef quarrels with her husband as she objects to the selling of the building. Yasser marries his cousin after his mother consents grudgingly in order to marry off her daughter to Sadiq.
Yasser decides to travel to work abroad. Jawaher reluctantly agrees to her youngest daughter's marriage to Essam. As Mansour buys a villa, Jawaher asks him that his mother not stay with them.
Mahmoud admonishes Mansour for leaving his mother alone after he moved to the villa. Mona marries Sadiq despite her brother Yasser's warning about his poor treatment and manners, which are revealed to her after marriage.
Mansour is upset about his son Louay's work with Sadiq in illegal business. When the police arrest Louay, Mansour suffers a heart attack and is taken to the hospital. Saad tries to convince Huda's aunt to marry him so that he can seize everything.
Huda asks her aunt to sell her land to get Louay out of prison. Umm Sadiq treats her daughter-in-law badly. Salwa asks her husband to help her brother in his ordeal, and Louay is released from prison.
Jawaher tries to drive a wedge between Mahmoud and Mansour despite Mahmoud's support for his brother in his son's plight. She also comes between her son, Yasser, and his wife, Hind, so he thinks of leaving the house. Sadiq divorces Mona after Louay's innocence is proven.
Louay and Huda get married. Salwa tells her husband that she is pregnant, and so does Hind. Mansour quarrels with Jawaher over her constant attempts to come between her children and his family. Jawaher falls ill and tries to use her illness to get those around her to sympathize with her.
Salwa gives birth to her first child. Mansour tries to reconcile his sister and his wife, Jawaher, after her poor health condition and the necessity of a kidney transplant for her, and she is surprised by Awatef donating her kidney to her.
