Ahlam lives with her parents after the death of her husband. Abu Salem asks Abu Khalifa to nominate a young bride for him. Khalifa is forced to tell his father that he is barren so as not to force him to marry another woman.
Badriya’s aunt, Ruqaya, is looking forward to marrying Abu Salem, but the latter proposes to Ahlam despite the age difference between them. Noura announces her pregnancy to Khalifa.
Ahlam agrees to marry Abu Salem, and Ruqaya threatens Ahlam and seeks to divorce her.
Ahlam suffers from Abu Salem's extreme miserliness. Problems begin between her and Mubarak, who agrees with his aunt, Ruqaya, to put pressure on Ahlam. The latter gives birth, as does Noura.
Ruqaya discovers that her brother, Abdulaziz, married a foreigner and had children with her. Abu Salem is stingy with his spending on Ahlam, and quarrels emerge between them.
Ahlam's father becomes paralyzed, and Abu Salem quarrels with Ahlam and divorces her.
Abu Salem decides to marry Ruqaya. Mubarak and his friend steal his father's safe box.
Abu Salem kicks Mubarak out of the house. Youssef asks his mother to propose marriage to Ahlam. Ruqaya quarrels with Abu Salem because of his extreme miserliness.

Quarrels begin between Ruqaya and Abdulaziz's foreign wife. Ahlam refuses to return to Abu Salem, and Saud agrees with Mubarak to rob Abu Salem again.
Nasser proposes to Ruqaya after her divorce from Abu Salem, and Youssef and Ahlam get married.
Salem discovers Mubarak’s theft of his father’s money. Nasser devises a plan to seize Ruqaya’s money, and Ahlam's father dies.
Abu Salem decides to file a lawsuit to take his son's custody after Ahlam's marriage. Mubarak asks his friend, Yasser, to help him find work. Muhammad's wife tries to incite him against his mother and sister Ahlam.
Ruqaya discovers that Nasser has stolen her money, so she asks for a divorce. Yasser approaches Badriya and they agree to get married. Muhammad's wife suggests that he ask his mother to quickly divide the inheritance.
Muhammad asks his mother to issue a general power of attorney for him to dispose of the assets. Ahlam’s son’s academic standard deteriorates due to his father’s neglect of him. Quarrels break out between Ahlam and Youssef’s mother.
Youssef's mother treats Ahlam badly, and Sheikha asks Muhammad to sell his mother's house and buy her a new villa.
Ruqaya quarrels with Abdulaziz's foreign wife and the latter decides to leave for her town. Muhammad tries to convince his mother to sell her house to please his wife.
Abu Salem refuses to marry his daughter Badriya to Yasser. Ahlam rages when she learns that Mubarak and Yasser are exploiting her son, Issa, by selling recorded tapes on the sidewalks.
Ahlam decides to file a lawsuit to gain her son's custody. Ahlam’s mother suffers a car accident and is taken to the hospital.
Youssef's mother insists that Issa does not stay in their house. Jassim gets to know and admire Reem. Mubarak loses his father's company's money on the stock market.
Ruqaya asks Abdulaziz to bring his foreign wife back home. Mubarak agrees with Badriya to marry Yasser without his father’s knowledge. Reem and Salem’s relationship develops and he proposes to her.
Yasser agrees with Reem to deceive Jassim and his sister, Badriya. Abu Salem is paralyzed when he learns that Badriya has secretly married Yasser.
Abu Salem's condition worsens, and he travels abroad for treatment. Reem begins to seize Salem's money.
Badriya asks Salem to issue a general power of attorney for Yasser to manage her money. Muhammad loses his money and Sheikha suggests staying in Ahlam’s house and selling their house. Salem tries to please Reem after discovering his impotence.
Yasser seizes Badriya's money and insists on aborting her. Muhammad files a lawsuit against Ahlam.
Yasser bargains with Badriya not to have an abortion in exchange for transferring the property in his name. Meanwhile, Reem takes advantage of Salem’s sexual impotence and asks him to transfer his property into her name.
Ahlam wins her case against her brother Muhammad. Abu Salem returns from his medical trip and Badriya asks him to forgive her. Youssef decides to travel with Abdulaziz to convince his foreign wife to return with his children.
Badriya believes that Reem has cheated on Salem. Muhammad discovers Sheikha's infertility, asks Ahlam to forgive him, and decides to marry someone other than Sheikha.
Ahlam pays her brother Muhammad's debts, and Mubarak fights with Salem because the latter gave all of the company's profits to Reem.
Reem decides to separate from Salem after his money and family property are seized. Yasser and Badriya are divorced. Ahlam opens a restaurant and offers Salem to be her partner, bringing the two families together so they can live in peace.
