A married man suffers from disturbing nightmares and visions in the form of his deceased ex-wife, haunting him both in his sleep and his wakefulness. His life and the lives of his neighbors are turned upside down when they receive threatening letters that plunge them into a maze of doubts and disputes, without knowing who sent them.
