Hassan decides to pay every dime he has to a tourism company to help him wed an American woman to obtain the American nationality. When Morsy discovers that his father, Abdu, has decided to get married, he teams up with Sou'ad to sabotage the marriage.

Mostafa asks Morsy to give him 6 months to prepare to wed Amal. Sou'ad asks Abdu to give her her mother's golden jewelry if he goes through with his marriage.

When Morsy tries to confirm that the contract for Mostafa's apartment is authentic, the landlord informs him that it's forged and tears it apart. However, Morsy realizes that the landlord is a fraud and that the contract was valid. The children of Abdu's intended object disapprove of their marriage.

When Abdu falls ill out of loneliness, Morsy forces him to move in with him. Morsy plots to have Mostafa and Amal stay in the house with him after their marriage. Hassan discovers that Amal and Mostafa have deceived Morsy.

As Abdu tries to locate Fatma, he discovers that she moved to a nursing home, prompting him to decide to stay at the same home to be near her. Mostafa tells Amal that Hassan has wed an American girl. Mostafa marries Amal.

When Mona confesses her love for Ahmed, he tells her that their love is doomed due to their poverty. Morsy and Abdel Azim get Ahmed a job. Ahmed starts working for Laila, who takes his father's wrongdoing out on him.

As Morsy's landlord sues him for having his daughter and son-in-law stay with him, Morsy tries to find a way to resolve the situation with Amal and Mostafa. Morsy discovers that Mostafa is working as a waiter at a restaurant.

Abdu helps Mostafa get a job in Kuwait. Laila has a change of heart regarding Ahmed and tries to get close to him. Morsy is shocked when Amal informs him that she is pregnant.

Abdu returns to teaching by giving private lessons at Morsy's house, which causes problems with Zeinab. Safaa asks her family for help after Ra'fat starts to lose his mind. Hassan arranges for Ahmed to wed an American girl.

The American Manya catches feelings for Ahmed and agrees to marry him. Fatma's son stirs up trouble for her when he discovers that she and Abdu are residents of the same nursing home. Morsy discovers that Abdu has wed Fatma.

When Ahmed gets arrested, he discovers that Manya is working for the mafia to prepare for a huge smuggling operation. Ahmed is forced to work with the police to bring her down. When Fatma falls ill, it's revealed that she is pregnant.

Abdu looks after the pregnant Fatma. Ahmed meets Dr. Amira who asks him to tutor her children. Adel tries to forcibly take Fatma from Abdu's house, but eventually decides to leave her be when he learns about her pregnancy.

When Ahmed tells his family that he wants to marry Amira, Laila decides to help him and convince Amira to agree. Ahmed battles fears over Amira's children's attachment to their father. The doctor tells Adel that his mother has a false pregnancy.

As Ahmed changes his mind about marrying Amira, he discovers that Laila is going to wed Abdel Azim. As Abdu tries to keep the truth about the false pregnancy from Fatma, her family tries to take her away after they learn the truth about her pregnancy.

Ahmed decides to marry Anhar, who tells him that she wants the legal authority to dissolve their marriage. But the marriage comes to a halt when it's discovered that Anhar is married and she kills her husband Bora'ei. Laila tries to help Hassan wed Abdel Azim's daughter.

As Morsy prepares to marry his son to Abdel Azim's daughter, the family comes together to provide the money for the bride's jewelry. Ahmed decides to marry Nehad, whom he met at the psychiatrist's. Hassan's marriage to Abdel Azim's daughter is ruined.
