Hayat's father prevents his daughter from going out as she is a widow. Jasser quarrels with his fiancée and her family because they want to speed up their marriage. Zakia learns that the house she lives in will be demolished.

Jasser borrows money from his father to go on with his wedding. As Zakia falls seriously ill, her nephew helps her to get the medication.

Osama asks Laila if he can go ask for her hand in marriage. Sayed tries to convince his brother Metwally to sell the land. Wael and his two friends, Marwan and Magdy, succeed in deceiving their parents to get money.

Jasser agrees to finalize his marriage to Mona and stay in her father's house temporarily. Metwally dies. Wael and his two friends meet a drug dealer, who considers exploiting them.

Drug dealer Gamil succeeds in controlling Wael and his two friends, Ramzi and Magdy, and begins bargaining with them to give them drugs. Jasser asks his fiancée to stay with his family after marriage.

Marwan meets his half-brother Alaa from his father’s side without knowing they’re related, and introduces him to the drug dealer Gamil. Sayed asks Sakina again to sell the land, but she refuses. Marwan and Wael start stealing from their families to buy drugs. The employee, Mazen, proposes to Hayat.

Jasser rejects Mazen's proposal to Hayat, despite her consent. Sakina's children demand that she sell the land, but she refuses. Jasser reports a bribery case. Gamil, the drug dealer, is surprised to know that Wael is Jasser’s brother, so he decides to exploit him.

Marwan robs his father's pharmacy to buy drugs. Laila's college teacher proposes to her.

Marwan's father discovers that his son has robbed the pharmacy. Disagreements arise between Mazen and Hayat after their marriage. Wael and his friends decide to rob the P.E. teacher's house, whereupon they run someone over with Jasser's new car.

As the police investigate the robbery at the teacher’s house and the hit-and-run with Jasser's car, they point the finger at him.

The investigation continues with Jasser in the cases of robbery and hitting a person with his car, whereupon he’s acquitted of the charges and released based on the testimonies of the witnesses. Hayat quarrels with Mazen and asks Jasser to have him divorce her.

As Marwan’s mom falls ill, he demands that his father pay for her treatment, but he refuses and tells him that he divorced her, whereupon she dies. Gamil incites Wael and his two friends to rob an apartment of his. Magdy's aunt is taken to the hospital upon discovering that she’s an addict.

Jasser tells his brother to stay away from Magdy, as he and his aunt are being watched by the police after learning of her addiction. Hayat quarrels with Mazen again and asks for a divorce. Wael decides to steal from Alaa’s father, as he’s wealthy.

As Magdy's aunt regains her speech and hearing, she agrees with Jasser to reveal the person who gave her drugs. Alaa’s father discovers that he is an addict, whereas his children learn that Marwan is their brother. Laila gets engaged to her college teacher.

Gamil asks Wael to steal a file from Jasser, which Wael regrets, after which he tries to fix things, but the police arrest him and his friends. Wael dies, and Marwan and Magdy go to prison.
