Aziz quarrels with his wife, Farida, because she holds sway over him in front of their children. Malak returns from Paris after completing her studies. Mukhtar appoints Aziz as the company's chairman of the board.

Khaled quarrels with his wife, Hala, and she tells him that he has completely changed after their son Majdi traveled abroad. Aziz meets Malak, his daughter Suhaila's best friend, and he admires her.

Malak goes to Aziz in his office and presents him with her CV so he would hire her in the company. Khaled meets Suhaila and asks her to forgive him.

As Riri Hindawi tries to make Hashem El Shahawi fall for her, she agrees with him on a date, then decides not to go to meet him. Hashem asks his grandfather, Mukhtar, to put him in charge of the company's affairs, instead of his father, Aziz, but Mukhtar refuses.

When Adel asks Aziz about Malak and tells him that he likes her, Aziz goes crazy as he feels jealous. After Hashem tells his father that he is being hounded by people, he gets angry when people learn that he is his son, and he tells him that he wants to prove himself to everyone.

Hashem tells Riri that he will ask for her hand from her mother, and he asks his father to go with him. Aziz learns from his friend that Riri has been married before and got divorced. Suhaila learns about Khaled's illness.

Riri's mother calls Aziz and tells him that his son Hashem has proposed to her daughter Riri and informs him of her refusal. Aziz asks to meet Malak and tells her that he has liked her since the first moment he saw her.

Hashem asks Riri to go with him somewhere so they can talk, but she refuses, and when another young man intervenes, Hashem quarrels with him and goes to the police station. Aziz gets angry with his son Hashem after he learns what happened. Khaled meets Suhaila and hints to her that he loves her.

After Mukhtar asks Hashem that he meets Riri to talk to her, Mukhtar asks Riri about her relationship with his grandson Hashem, but she tells him that she does not want to marry him, and that he is the one who wants to. Aziz confesses his love for Malak.

When Aziz meets Malak and asks to marry her, Malak tells him of her love for him and agrees to marry him, after which Aziz marries Malak and tells her that he will announce their marriage at the right time.

Mukhtar tells Manar that her ex-husband, Taymour, still loves her and wants to get back to her. Captain Khaled tells Suhaila that once he returns to Cairo, he will ask for her hand in marriage from her father.

When Farida tells Taymour about her fear for the company from Adel and Yahya, she asks him to help her son Hashem take on an important position in the company. Riri asks to meet Hashem and tells him that she loves him.

When Farida returns from her travels, Malak sees Aziz with her, and feels very jealous. Malak asks her mother to return to her father in order to reunite the family.

Taymour returns from Paris and tells his ex-wife, Manar, that he has settled in Egypt and asks her to return to him. Riri tries to deceive Hashem again in order to make him return to her.

When Dalal learns that Khaled is married, she tells Malak about the matter and they try to find a way to inform their friend Suhaila. Khaled meets Suhaila and tells her that he is married, whereupon Suhaila is shocked.

Suhaila refuses to meet Captain Khaled. Mukhtar tells Aziz that he senses a drastic change in his treatment of his wife, Farida, and asks him about the reason. Suhaila tells Dalal that she now hates Khaled after learning of his marriage.

Captain Khaled asks Suhaila to forgive him, but she refuses. Aziz tells Malak that he can no longer bear not to tell people about their marriage and tells her that he will tell her father Taymour, but she refuses, after which Aziz tells Taymour about his marriage to his daughter Malak.

Suhaila learns that her father married her best friend Malak, who faces Suhaila and tells her that her marriage to her father came after a love story between them and that she did not tell her about it so as not to hurt her feelings.

When Suhaila confronts her father, telling him that she knows of his marriage to Malak, he tells her that her mother is the reason for what happened after she'd stopped thinking of anyone but herself and stopped caring about him. Suhaila tells Khaled that she's agreed to his marriage proposal.

Suhaila tells her father that she is in love with Khaled and agrees to marry him, but Aziz refuses his daughter Suhaila's request and tells her that Khaled is much older than her.

Aziz returns from traveling and learns that his son Hashem wants to marry Riri Hindawi again. Hashem tells his father that he will marry no one but her, asking him to agree to the marriage.

Taymour asks his daughter Malak to leave Aziz, but she refuses. Mukhtar meets with Aziz, Adel, and Yahya and asks them why the company's conditions are deteriorating.

Aziz quarrels with his daughter Suhaila and tells her that Khaled took advantage of her innocence and naivety and made her fall in love with him. When Khaled meets Aziz for the first time, Aziz refuses Khaled's request to marry his daughter.

Mukhtar watches Aziz and sees him with Malak. Aziz confesses to his father-in-law, Mukhtar, that he has been married to Malak for a while. Mukhtar asks Aziz to fix his mistake, divorce Malak and return to his family, but Aziz refuses to divorce Malak.

Malak asks Aziz to leave her and return to his family, but he refuses and tells her that he can't live without her. Mukhtar asks his daughter Farida to try to get Aziz back in her life.

Malak tells her mother Manar that she will travel to Paris again. Aziz tells his daughter Suhaila that Captain Khaled's wife visited them at home and asked them to stay away from her husband.

Aziz objects to his son Hashem's traveling and tells him that he can't live without him. Farida agrees with Allam, the rival of her father's company, to employ Hashem in his company. Mukhtar gets angry about his daughter's behavior and quarrels with her.

Aziz decides to leave the house. Riri tells Hashem of her decision to stay away from him. Malak tells Aziz that she will leave him for his family and return to Paris. She goes to his villa to bid him farewell one last time, but Aziz collapses, then dies and the family collapses out of grief for him.
