The story revolves around a female psychiatrist living in a working-class Egyptian neighborhood. She cares for her patients in their homes and does not ask them to come to the clinic for examination. This doctor discovers the suffering of many young men and women due to spinsterhood and late marriage. She begins to help young men and women get married.
