Adam quarrels with Al-Disy after the latter beats his little brother. Hana surprises Adam with his birthday present and they exchange romantic conversations. Nancy prepares for her wedding to Yusuf.

Adam is arrested by the state security men for distributing political pamphlets, and officer Hisham interrogates him and decides to release him, but officer Seif Al-Hadidy threatens him. Adam's father beats his son after he finds out what happened.

Seif invites his friend officer Hisham to his house. Seif becomes furious when Hisham beats him in chess. Adam's father reconciles with his son. Adam's sister, Batta, tells Adam that Marzouk wants to propose to her.

Officer Hisham quarrels with his wife. Yusuf dies on his wedding night and Nancy has a nervous breakdown after knowing. Adam agrees with Marzouk to come home to ask for Batta's hand.

Hana rejects Al- Disy when he proposes to her. Marzouk asks for Batta's hand from her father, and they agree on all the details and hold their engagement party.

Seif's mother consoles him after he tells her how much he wants to have kids. Nancy decides to immigrate to Italy. Adam's uncle, Amer, is in a severe state of depression due to his delay in marriage.

Adam hits Al-Disy after he makes a pass at Hana. Adam wants to marry Hana, but his dad is against it, especially as he is still studying. Officer Seif quarrels with officer Hisham.

Someone asks Adam’s father to run his business and allow him to build a 12-floor building for a sum of money, but Adam's mother is against it. Officer Seif's wife, Siham, slips into drug addiction through her friend.

The police arrest Adam's father on bribery charges. Adam’s uncle steals from his sister to take part in a profitable project, but the man who runs the project escapes. Adam's family finds out about his father.

Seif quarrels with Siham after he finds a cigarette in the bedroom. Adam is fired from his job after his Vespa gets stolen. Seif slaps Adam after talking to him about the children.

Amer's boss wants him to give false testimony in exchange for money. After decorating his house, Nancy goes to take her last payment from her American client. He tries to assault her, and Adam accidentally comes there. They get into a fight and the American guy dies.

Amer refuses to give false testimony and tells the truth to the judge. The officer interrogates Nancy and she does not tell what happened. She hosts Adam at her house after he gets injured.

Adam’s father gets sick after learning what happened, and the police accuse his son of killing the American man. Nancy’s friend, Amir, learns the story of Adam and the American and decides to help Adam prove his innocence.

Adam asks his friend, Karim to help him see his family. Marzouk wants to turn Adam in, but he changes his mind at the last minute and tells Adam to escape before officer Seif catches him.

Khaled works on the farm with the man who saved him at court with his testimony and takes care of Adam's family. Hana tells her father that she cannot marry anyone but Adam, which makes him beat her.

Seif learns that his friend Amir is friends with Nancy and that he visited Adam's family. Hana's father refuses to marry his daughter to Al-Disy and tells him to leave her alone.

Officer Hisham raids Nancy’s farm and talks to Adam who tells him that he killed the man in self-defense and asks him to surrender himself, but he refuses. Hisham refuses to shoot Adam as he escapes. Seif's wife learns that she is pregnant.

Siham tells her husband Seif that she is pregnant, but he goes mad as he thinks that he's not the father. He slaps her and she has a miscarriage. Seif quarrels with Amir who tells him that his wife is innocent and that she went to him because she suffers from mental illness.

Adam's friends try to talk with the man who has the hard disk that recorded the American man's assault on Nancy. Adam's father dies in the hospital and Adam collapses when he finds out.

The police arrest Adam and Nancy's friends, and Nancy confesses to officer Hisham about the crime and says that Adam is innocent. Seif divorces Siham, and she brings him the DNA test.

Seif discovers that his wife is innocent and that he killed his unborn baby. Hisham's daughter is paralyzed from an accident. Adam agrees to marry Hana after she tells him she can't live without him.

Seif and Hisham raid Amer's farm, and Adam escapes with Hana before the police arrive. Hana's father kicks her out, and she goes to live with Adam's mother.

Siham refuses to return to her husband Seif. The man who has the videos from the night of the crime erases all the videos related to the American man. Adam's friend reports him to the police, but Adam escapes before they come.

Adam escapes and stays in the mosque for several days. Al-Disy attacks Adam's sister, Batta, but Marzouq stops him and teaches him a harsh lesson. The court orders the abdicative divorce (khula) of Siham from her husband Seif.

Nancy tries to reconcile Hana with her father. Hisham interrogates Gega to obtain information regarding the videos of the night of the accident. Seif finds Adam's location; he arrests him but promises to stand beside him.

Both Seif and Hisham ask their boss to take the task of interrogating Adam, but he assigns Seif to be in charge of it. Seif torturers Adam to confess to the crime, but he denies.

Hisham takes Adam to the hospital after Seif's assault on him. Hisham helps Adam escape and he is investigated. Hisham exposes the videos of the crime and tells his boss about them. The video of the crime is leaked on social media.

Adam tortures officer Seif; he tells him the truth and leaves. Seif vows to make Adam pay for what he did. Nancy records a video online to prove Adam's innocence.

Seif violently tortures Adams's friends and family to tell him Adam's whereabouts, but to no avail.

Adam decides to turn himself in after he finds out that Seif captured his family and Hana. Adam tells Seif that he will do anything but to let his family go. Adam hits Seif, and Seif shoots him dead.
