Farid suffers due to his wife Jihan's negligence in raising their daughters and her desire to give birth to a boy. Abdel Moneim resents the empty words that his wife Liqaa shouts about marital happiness, and Sabri tries to take care of his sick wife Elham.
Farid seeks to patch things up with Jihan after her pregnancy. The latter asks him to sell his land, but he refuses. Things become tense between Abdel Moneim and Liqaa because of her daughter’s grades at school.
Jihan tries to convince her husband, Farid, to let his daughter marry her cousin, despite their young age, out of greed for his father Saleh’s money. On the other hand, Abdel Moneim admires his secretary, Mahasen.
Abdel Moneim quarrels with Liqaa because of her continued neglect of the children. At the same time, Gibran offers Saleh cooperation in a new project. Jihan still insists on selling Farid’s land.
Alia's husband tries to harass Mahasen, so she is forced to stay the night at Sabri's law office. Abdel Moneim leaves the house, and Magdy reproaches his mother for her marriage to Abdul Latif.
Elham quarrels with her husband, Sabri, because she suspects him, and Saleh refuses to cooperate with Radwan because of his trade in antiquities.
Jihan is sad when she learns that the fetus is female. Liqaa is upset by Abdel Moneim’s good treatment of the maid, Umm Salama, and her daughter. Radwan tries to convince Saleh’s assistant to work with him in the antiquities trade.
Sabri takes on the case that Abdul Latif’s children filed against their father to declare him legally incompetent. Radwan asks Jihan's father to transport a shipment of Pharaonic paintings through his company, but he does not know that they are smuggled, and Jihan tries to have an abortion.
Liqaa and Elham try to convince Jihan to return to Farid. Farid's sister, Rashida, returns from traveling. Saeed discovers Radwan's work in smuggling.
Elham tries to convince Mahasen to marry Adel in order to keep her away from her husband Sabri, who confesses his love for Mahasen. Farid asks Jihan to return to their home.
Sabri proposes to Mahasen and her sister's husband takes advantage of him financially. Abdel Moneim gets closer to Amira, and Abdul Latif's children bargain with their father to give up his property in exchange for not filing a lawsuit to declare him legally incompetent.
Jihan gives birth to her baby girl in the hospital and asks for a divorce from Farid. He stipulates that the girls remain with him in order for him to divorce her. Abdel Moneim asks to marry Amira.
Amira agrees to marry Abdel Moneim, on the condition that they announce their marriage, and Farid informs Saleh of his divorce from Jihan.
Farid and Saleh try to reconcile their sister Rashida and her husband. Radwan quarrels with the businessman Abdel Salam after the stealing of the ancient statue. Sabri suggests to Farid to marry again.
Abdel Moneim proposes to Farid that he marry Mahasen, which angers Sabri. Mahasen announces to the latter that she is pregnant. Rashida is against her husband's selling all of their property and traveling abroad. Amira’s mother discovers her daughter’s marriage to Abdel Moneim.
Abdel Salam agrees with Radwan to deceive Saleh into smuggling the shipment of antiquities out of town, and Farid meets his old schoolmate Rania and admires her.
Sabri is shocked when he discovers Abdel Moneim's marriage to the maid Amira. Abdul Latif asks Saeed to look for Asran, and Rania gets close to Farid's daughters.
Alia's husband threatens Mahasin that he will tell Elham about her marriage to Sabri and blackmails her financially. Khaled’s mother sets a condition for Jihan that she should travel abroad with her son so she would agree to their marriage. Rashida insists on getting divorced from Tawfiq.
Abdel Moneim teaches Alia's husband a lesson that he will never forget so that he does not blackmail Mahasen again. Amira decides to return to work in Liqaa's house so that she does not discover her marriage to Abdel Moneim. Assem dies in a car accident.
Ibrahim is psychologically affected by the death of his son. Elham confronts Sabri and Mahasen about their marriage, and Farid proposes marriage to Rania.
Khaled's mother asks Jihan to rush her marriage to her son, and Abdel Moneim insists that Amira leave her work at Liqaa.
Saleh tries to persuade Farid not to marry Rania when he learns that her uncle is Radwan. The latter seeks to convince Farid to work with him in the antiquities trade, and she confronts Abdel Moneim about his marriage to Amira.
Farid quarrels with his friends Abdel Moneim and Sabri over their marriage to Amira and Mahasen. Abdel Moneim's children refuse to stay with him after his marriage.
Elham agrees to return to Sabri. Elham tries to persuade Liqaa to give Abdel Moneim another chance. Farid marries Rania.
Abdul Latif forgives his children, and Jihan bids farewell to her family and daughters as she decided to travel abroad. Farid is caught red-handed with a box of antiquities in his car that Saleh asked him to deliver to Radwan.
Saleh and Radwan are arrested. Years pass, and Mahasen gives birth to her daughter, Amira gives birth, and Jihan returns from traveling.
Jihan asks Sabri to take over her son's case. Liqaa's son asks to marry Farid's daughter, and Mahasen hides her illness and surgery from Sabri.
Jihan asks to see her daughters, and her son escapes from prison. Mahasen asks Elham to take care of her daughter after she travels and tells her of the seriousness of her illness. Rashida meets the businessman Nashaat and agrees to invest her money with him.
Mahasen bids farewell to Sabri and leaves. The latter tells Farid that Nashaat is a fraudster who the police are looking for, and Farid tries to convince Rashida to stay away from him.
Farid reveals Nashaat's deception to Rashida. The wedding of Farid's daughter and Abdel Moneim's son takes place. Liqaa asks to return to the latter, but he refuses. Mahasen's surgery is successful.
