A young woman suffers from a state of hysterical paralysis due to a series of psychological complexes that have afflicted her. This condition has left her blind and unable to move any of her limbs. She cannot remember anything and becomes hysterical at the mere sight of water. Her family brings her a psychiatrist to treat her in a different way than she is used to.
