In 1910 Lebanon, the two sisters Siham and Salama live in a mountain village. Siham is a malicious girl in contrast to Salama who is benevolent, beautiful, and intelligent betrothed to the courteous young man Riyad. When Siham disappears, Salama searches for her to no avail, so she impersonates her to save the situation, and many comic incidents ensue.
