A wealthy elderly father, Ismail Bey, 75 years old, summons all his sons and daughters, the children he fathered with his three ex-wives. They imagine that Cairo welcomes all who come to it, and they imagine that their father's summoning them is solely about the money he will distribute among them. However, their elderly father stipulates that they must, on his behalf, correct his past mistakes.
