Abu Matih is a stingy, greedy father, and his only concern is obtaining money by any means possible. His bad nature has an impact on his family and those around him. We see some of his family supporting him and others who want to be freed from him. This is in addition to some of the social problems that occur between Abu Matih, his neighbors, and his only sister and her husband.
