When the well-off Mahmoud decides to marry, he entertains a wish to marry a blonde girl, which saddens his relative Karima. His neighbor Nassef, meanwhile, asks the matchmaker Umm Shalaby (Shalaby's mother) to find him a bride as well-educated as he is, totally unaware of Ebtesam's feelings for him.

Mahmoud meets the blonde girl's, Doaa, family, and he is shocked by her father's insistence that he practice wrestling. Mahmoud eventually cancels the wedding when he learns that she is not a natural blonde.

Nassef finds his dream girl in Nahla, but her parents reject him when he overburdens them with wedding demands. Mahmoud, meanwhile, develops a crush on Dr. Eman, also a blonde, but he's shocked to learn she is in a relationship.

Ebtesam futilely tries to hint at her feelings for Nassef. Mahmoud gets engaged to Safaa but soon learns of her ill-tempered nature as she gets him into trouble.

Mahmoud breaks off his engagement. Nassef, meanwhile, publishes an ad in the newspaper to find Miss Right, but what he gets is a woman that swindles him.

Mahmoud gets engaged to the rich Nany, but they soon break off their engagement due to their intellectual differences. The police arrest the swindlers and manage to get Nassef's money back.

Umm Shalaby finds Mahmoud a bride that turns out to be a teenager. When Nassef proposes to Sawsan, a jealous Ebtesam ruins things between them.

In a desperate attempt to find themselves wives, Mahmoud and Nassef open up a shell company and publish an ad looking for secretaries, but they're shocked when Ebtesam and Karima apply.

Nassef decides to marry Abir but is shocked to learn that her father is an undertaker. Mahmoud, meanwhile, proposes to Essmat who turns out to be divorced as her ex-husband beats Mahmoud up.

Karima tries to approach Mahmoud. Nassef breaks off his engagement with Abir following a dispute with her father. Mahmoud and Nassef meet the well-cultured Abla and develop feelings for her.

The competition between Mahmoud and Nassef gets fierce as each tries to woo Abla. When Nassef visits her uncle, he is terrified when he sees the reptiles he keeps at home.

Karima and Ebtesam move on from Mahmoud and Nassef and get into relationships with other men. Mahmoud and Nassef reconcile as Abla rejects them both after teaching them an unforgettable lesson on modesty.
