Hessa is a traditional Kuwaiti woman who is conservative in her customs and traditions. She is surprised by her husband, Mubarak, who has returned from abroad, where he was working on his doctorate. He brings Western values that make him an unusual person who just thinks about money, making her feel lower in her beauty and herself. Despite this, she tries to bring him back to his senses.
