When Kamal confesses his love for Laila, her mother tries to warn her off the age gap between them. As Kamal asks for Laila's hand, he is surprised by her engagement to Taher, who finds out about her love for Kamal and decides to help them.

Taher has a tragic accident and departs the life, as a result of which Amina gets paralyzed. Adela kicks out her daughter, Laila, because of the latter's desire to marry Kamal after Taher's death.

Amina and Mahmoud try to convince Adela to let Laila marry Kamal, but she refuses and accuses Mahmoud of marrying her sister, Amina, to seize their wealth. Kamal marries Laila.

Mahmoud plans to marry Amina. Farid pushes his sister, Siham, to wheedle her way into Mahmoud in an attempt to fool him. Amina discovers Mahmoud's relationship with Siham.

Amina confronts Siham and Mahmoud with their marriage, informs them of her consent, and asks them to live with her. Siham tries to get closer to Laila and Kamal, as well as working her way into the family.

Laila discovers that she is pregnant with her first baby from Kamal. Amina kicks Adela out of her house due to the latter's attempt to prevent Mahmoud's marriage to Siham, whom Munir searches for.

Mahmoud hires Farid as the vice president of the company, after which Farid begins plotting to get rid of Kamal. Bendari asks to marry Adela and she agrees. Mahmoud marries Siham.

Kamal divorces Laila due to their ever-growing disagreements. Siham evades telling Mahmoud about her past with her first husband. Siham is shocked when Munir is released from prison, while the latter is as well stupefied to learn that she has got married.

After Amina is shocked at discovering Siham's pregnancy from Mahmoud, she turns to Munir in an attempt to uncover Farid and Siham's plans against Mahmoud. Kamal decides to resign from Mahmoud's company.

After Munir's mother passes away, Farid tries to delude him into thinking that Siham suffers loss of memory. Munir tells Amina his story and how Siham got him in prison. Farid frames Kamal for an embezzlement case and the police arrest him.

Laila bails Kamal out of jail on remand. Mahmoud discovers the truth about Siham's previous marriage to Munir and giving birth to Nousa.

Mahmoud decides to take advantage of Amina's assigned power of attorney and sell everything she owns in his favour. Munir tries to reach Amina, but Mahmoud prevents him.

Amina revokes the power of attorney and lays her hand on her properties once again. Kamal is discharged after proving Azmy's fraud. Mahmoud divorces Amina, while Siham leaves him and demands a divorce.
