Majed participates in the resistance against the French occupation with his friend. As Majed's father, Mounir El Qanadili, is martyred at the hands of the occupation forces, Majed decides to avenge his father's death on Sabri Abul Ward, thinking that he had a hand in his father's killing.

Majed escapes after shooting Sabri Abul Ward, who is taken to the hospital. Shawkat El Qanadili visits Abul Ward and checks on him.

Salim Abd El Zayat goes to visit Sabri Abul Ward in his house, checks on him, and asks to be his partner, after which he asks him for his daughter's hand in marriage.

Shawkat El Qanadili flirts with his brother's widow, Umm Majed (Majed's mother), bothers her more than once, and proposes to her, but she refuses every time.

Sabri Abul Ward falls ill and tells his children his last will before he dies, and everyone grieves for him. Umm Majed gets angry and complains about Shawkat to his wife.

Umm Majed gets angry with Shawkat, takes her belongings, leaves the house, and goes to her family's, after which she marries her relative to get rid of Shawkat and his pestering.

Imad, Majed's brother, marries Shawkat's daughter, his cousin. Majed returns after learning that Sabri Abul Ward, whom he was accused of killing, has died.

A close friendship develops between Siham and Ezz El Din, Shawkat's son, and as Ezz decides to get closer to Siham, he grows deeply fond of her.

After Majed learns that his mother has married her relative, he goes to talk to her, and his mother welcomes him with open arms. Majed decides to reopen his father's shop.

Majed tries to restore his father's shop to the way it was, whereupon he goes to talk with the merchants and decides to strike deals so that his father's name in the market returns to the way it was.

Majed tries to get closer to Fedaa Maqsoud and arranges a date with her in order to see her. Izzo talks to Siham and asks her to stay away from the person she is dating.

The police arrest Majed after an anonymous report that accuses Majed of engaging in arms trafficking. The police officer is convinced that Majed is innocent. Fedaa visits her beloved Majed in the police station.

As Majed's stepfather goes to the police station to defend him, he succeeds in getting Majed out of the station. Majed goes to his family after his release from jail and visits his mother.

As an attempt is made to rape and kidnap Siham, Izzo rescues her, but he is severely beaten by the perpetrators. Siham visits Izzo in the hospital and checks on him.

Sabri Abul Ward's son and Shawkat's wife devise a plan to entrap Imad, whom the police arrest. Majed goes to his mother with his girlfriend Fedaa and tells her that he wants to marry her.

Majed goes to his uncle and tells him that his friend's son and his wife have devised a plan to entrap Imad, and his uncle becomes paralyzed upon learning the news. Shawkat's wife quarrels with her co-wife and tells her that she is not the reason for his paralysis.
