Marwan faces many criticisms while reciting poetry in a large symposium. Assi tells Laila that he wants to break off their engagement because of his financial hardship.

After the police arrest Raed, Assi searches for a way to get him out. Samer asks Assi to lend him money to pay the costs of travel and work abroad. Umm Assi (Assi's mother) tries to reconcile between her son and Laila.

The siblings vote to sell their share of the house against the wishes of Assi and their mother. Marwan makes money selling his poems. Laila objects to Umm Assi's proposal to get married and live in a small apartment.

Laila gets angry after hearing rumors of Assi's relationship with another woman, and the latter discovers his mother's desire to marry him off without his consent, so he objects to the matter.

Laila suspects that there is a misunderstanding about the issue of Assi's marriage to another woman. Umm Assi gets sick and is taken to the hospital.

Umm Assi's condition improves and is discharged from the hospital. Assi gets close to Alia. Naji helps his wife open a clothing and sewing workshop.

Assi tries to prove to Alia that his relationship with Laila is over after Alia doubts him. Assi tries again to get Raed out of jail after a fight in the workplace.

The owner of the auto repair shop persuades Raed to return to work. Rafik's wife's project suffers heavy losses. As Assi marries Laila, the two quarrel on their wedding night.

As Laila leaves the house, Umm Assi fears that El Khair's family's offspring will be cut off due to the kids' refusal to have children. Marwan succeeds in his poetry seminar, but suffers from the publishing house's refusal to publish his poetry collection.

Assi is rewarded for his devotion to work. Marwan discovers the high cost of publishing the book at his own expense.

News spread about the arrest of Samer abroad under the name Tamer. The disputes between Rafik and Rabaa increase.

After the doctor tells Assi that his mother needs urgent surgery, the operation succeeds after which Assi takes care of his mother during the recovery period.

Fouad pays for the poems he buys from Marwan in exchange for plates from his father's factory. After Marwan discovers that all the copies of his poems have run out from the market, he asks Assi to help him publish a second edition.

Assi evades Marwan because of the many problems that the latter is facing. Umm Assi tries to convince Asaad to marry Samiha.

Raed threatens to quit his job at the auto repair shop again. Asaad decides to secretly marry Samiha with his mother's approval, while Assi gets a night shift job.

Raed returns to work. Marwan threatens to stop selling Fouad's books to him. Samer is forced to work in the fishing business.

Ziad rewards Safi with a cell phone as a gift for his honesty at work. Samer receives help from his friend by providing him with a new job.

Ziad rejects Assi's desire to pay for the phone, while it turns out that the latter concealed his true identity from Ziad and told him that his name was Nidal, with the help of Alia.

Umm Assi tells Najwa that Asaad married Samiha to give birth to a son. Samer decides to follow his friend's advice to play music in the streets to gain money.

Ziad travels and leaves Assi in charge of the entire work. Maysa suffers due to Bassam's addiction to video games and his evasion of work and taking on responsibility.

Assi intervenes to help Bassam after his illness. Nawas flunks at school. Assi asks Alia to postpone his meeting with her father.

Marwan returns from Beirut after the failure of his poetry tour. Alia's father warns his daughter of Assi because of the latter's constant evasion of meeting him.

Samiha advises Asaad to speak frankly with Hind about marrying her in order to have children. Samer fails to borrow money to pay off his debts abroad.

Fouad convinces Marwan to write lyrics of low quality songs and make music videos for them. Assi suspects Ziad's attempt to drive a wedge between him and Alia in order to wed him to his daughter.

Raed gets a tempting offer to go back to his old job and leave Abu Alaa. Hind discovers the truth about Asaad's marriage to Samiha.

Assi discovers that Ziad is Alia's father, and that Alia is a rich girl named Sawsan. Samer leaves his new job. Samiha proposes to Asaad to sign over the house to Hind to reconcile the latter.

As Hind asks for a divorce from Asaad, Salem tries to speed up things to end the matter. As Ziad's condition deteriorates, Assi decides to donate his kidney to him, despite the latter accusing him of fraud.

As Assi discovers that the story of Ziad's illness is a lie, the latter offers him money in exchange for staying away from his daughter, but he refuses.

Assi threatens Samer to force him to return from Greece. Abu Mahmoud plans to marry another woman. Assi tells Alia (Sawsan) he want to end their relationship.

As Assi starts running a new farm with his friend, he remarries Laila. Mahmoud's wife runs away from home. Samiha gives birth to a child, whom Assad names Assi.
