A couple live their lives without having children, but the wife begins to complain and seeks to have a child and change her husband's mind. The husband evades responsibility and lives a parallel life in which he engages in childish activities, such as reading kids magazines and riding bicycles. An unexpected friendship develops between him and a boy.
