Khaled neglects his work and arrives late every day. While he is in a restaurant, he comes on to a woman, so the men in the restaurant insist on taking him to the police station. Khaled asks his uncle for a sum of money.
As Khaled marries Hessa, her dad stipulates that they spend the honeymoon on a European island. He is shocked to find out that his wife's mom and family want to travel with them. His manager scolds him for being late for work. He is taken aback by a merchant who accuses him of not paying the debts he owes.
Khaled rejects his friend's idea of stealing from the company he works for. Hessa's mom gets upset about Khaled's arriving home late.
Hessa looks for her husband, Khaled, and reports him missing to the police; meanwhile, the police detain him in the police station on charges of theft, whereupon Hessa's mom insists on her daughter's divorce from Khaled.
After Mubarak gets fired, Abu Jassem tries to convince him to work with him and Khaled in a singing group and perform on television.
Khaled tries to appeal to the company's manager to give him his job back, yet he refuses, after which Khaled applies for a job as an editor in a newspaper, but fails.
As Khaled continues to look for a job, he fails to find one, whereas Mubarak manages to get his job back at the company.
Khaled returns to work at the company, and when he wins the lottery, his mother-in-law suggests that his wife change all the furniture in the house.
The lawyer meets Khaled and tells him that his uncle is sick and wants to leave him some money, whereupon he meets his uncle, who stipulates that he marry his cousin in order to get the inheritance, but after his death, Khaled is surprised to find out that he left all his money to the orphans.
Quarrels erupt between Khaled and his second wife, who's also his cousin, after he didn't receive the inheritance. Also, hostility arises between the two co-wives, Narges and Hessa.
Khaled is surprised by his neighbor asking him to let his children stay with him until he comes back from work, whereupon the children make a racket in Khaled's house.
As Khaled becomes depressed and remains confined to the house, refusing to leave it, Mubarak keeps him company and convinces him to go out.
Abu Jassem convinces Khaled and Mubarak to work with him. Mubarak accompanies Khaled to buy new clothes, after which he asks Abu Fahd to help him take another wife.
Abu Jassem convinces Khaled to participate in a wrestling match and earn a large amount of money, but Khaled loses the match and suffers many bruises and fractures. Thereafter, the lawyer meets him and tells him that his father left him an inheritance.
