When Abu Fahmy lucks out and manages to fix the air conditioner, he mistakenly believes that he is an expert. When he goes to buy groceries, he thinks that the grocer's scale is faulty and tries to fix it, only to break it. The angry grocer beats him before taking him to the police station.

Abu Fahmy advises his friend Ayman to go with him to the field to get Mulukhiyah (Jute plant) leaves since it's much cheaper to get it from the field as opposed to buying it from the market. Aby Fahmy's sons throw the stems on the ground, which injures their neighbor who reports them to the police.

Abu Fahmy tries to fix the plumbing for his father-in-law, but his efforts end in failure as usual, as he causes the entire street to flood, leaving him to face the people's ire.

When Abu Fahmy tries to fix a chair that belongs to a police officer, his failure leaves him at the mercy of the officer who canes his feet.

When Abu Fahmy ruins important papers for the lawyer that he is working with, the irate lawyer takes him to the police station. When Abu Fahmy's mother falls ill because of him, he takes her to the hospital.

Abu Fahmy quarrels with the nurses after he ruins the medical equipment. As the police pursue him, his daughter gets lost.

Abu Fahmy's wife pressures him to pick up his daughter from the police station. Abu Fahmy gets a new TV receiver but he fails to install it properly.

In order to help his brother see their mother, Abu Fahmy takes apart his hospital bed, only to aggravate his brother's injuries and cause him a compound fracture. He also disturbs the patients whose families call the police.

Sou'ad's manager visits her house to convince her father to get her back to work. Abu Fahmy's brother gets released from the hospital.

Abu Fahmy travels to a remote village to buy turtles so that he could sell them in the market.

As Abu Fahmy tries to get a large number of turtles, he ends up quarreling with a merchant, who refuses to take the turtles. Abu Fahmy is unable to sell all the turtles.

When Abu Fahmy signs off on some work documents instead of the general manager, the manager calls the police on him. Abu Fahmy gets imprisoned and meets Abu Antar, the leader of the prisoners.

Abu Antar informs Abu Fahmy of who he is and stresses that the latter must obey him. When Abu Fahmy is unable to fix Abu Antar's radio, he is left to face the latter's wrath.

Abu Antar exaggerates the radio's price and asks Abu Fahmy to pay 30 thousand pounds for it. As a punishment, Abu Antar gets Abu Fahmy to sing to substitute for the broken radio.

As two men kill another in the prison's bathroom, Abu Fahmy overhears them and tells the warden that Abu Antar and his men are behind the incident. When Abu Antar's men deny the accusation, Abu Fahmy walks back his testimony.

Abu Fahmy gets a suspended sentence of 6 months. When he is released, he asks to return to his job, but the manager refuses and fires him.

Abu Fahmy gets his brother's father-in-law involved in a deal for faulty lamps. Fathy tries to convince his father-in-law to stay away from his brother Abu Fahmy, but his father-in-law refuses to listen.

Abu Fahmy ruins his brother's wedding and causes a problem between Fathy and his father-in-law due to the faulty lamps deal.

When Abu Antar is released from prison, he seeks out Abu Fahmy. He visits him at home to offer him a job with him on a car distributing diesel.

When Abu Fahmy sells Abu Antar's diesel for cheap, Abu Antar grows wroth and quarrels with Abu Fahmy.

Fathy's wife gives birth. The value of the land belonging to Abu Fahmy and his brother increases. Abu Fahmy goes to visit Ayman at the mental hospital, but Ayman takes revenge on him.

When Abu Antar learns about Abu Fahmy's land, he decides to become his business manager and bodyguard. Abu Fahmy decides to partner up with his brother to open a real estate company.

Abu Fahmy visits his old manager and informs him that he wants to help him, but the manager asks him to leave. Abu Fahmy tries to evade Abu Antar.

Abu Antar meets Abu Fahmy and invites him on a night out. When he returns drunk, his wife quarrels with him.

Abu Fahmy stands up for Abu Antar in front of his family and tells them that he is an ex-con, just like Abu Antar. Abu Fahmy goes with Abu Antar to learn how to drive.

Abu Antar takes Abu Fahmy to a nightclub. When he sees his old prison friend, he asks him to befriend Abu Fahmy to scam him out of money.

Abu Antar and Abu Satif convince Abu Fahmy to run for the parliament in order to scame him out of money.

Abu Fahmy's wife comes back home after a period of separation. Fathy's wife returns to her husband. Abu Fahmy has a debate with his opponent for the parliamentary election. The police arrest Abu Antar and Abu Satif.
