The captain asks Ragheed to help him and Abbas bring a man named Saeed Salem from Beirut to Tangiers, as this man is wanted from a Nazi called Von Ruschterch after he betrayed the Nazis by telling their secrets to the allies.

Ragheed goes to Beirut in search of Saeed Salem. After locating him, he tells him everything he knows about the German Nazi and Ragheed asks him to leave without telling him where he is, so he can mislead the captain and Abbas.

Ragheed meets Abbas and confesses he has met Saeed and told him everything, asking him to leave town for a few days. Abbas is furious at him and quickly tells the captain that Ragheed has betrayed them.

Saeed decides to sell his apartment and leave town forever, which is met with the refusal of his daughter Hend. Ragheed meets Saeed and tells him that the captain and Abbas have returned to Tangiers. Hend begins developing feelings towards Ragheed.

Saeed tells Ragheed that while his daughter Hend blindly trusts him, he does not. He asks him why he has stayed behind in Beirut while the captain and Abbas left back to Tangiers.

As the captain tells Abbas he wants to take revenge on Ragheed after he deceived him, he tells him he will go get information about him from his close friend, Abdel Karim.

Saeed tells his daughter Hend that he approves of her engagement to Ragheed. However, he says he has a feeling that he is hiding something and he will ask around about him so he can be reassured.

As Ragheed pays Hend a visit, he is shocked to find her father pointing a gun at him and demanding he tell him his story from start to end.

The captain and Abbas make a deal with Von Ruschterch to return to Beirut to capture Saeed as well as Ragheed in order to take revenge on him for betraying them.

The captain tells Ragheed that his friend Abdel Karim has been wrongfully arrested in Tangier for the murder of his wife. Ragheed tells the captain he is prepared to go to Tangier and testify in order to save Abdel Karim from prison.

Ragheed asks the captain to inform Von Ruschterch that it is futile to try and capture Saeed especially after the police have provided him with protection. Von Ruschterch makes a deal with the captain to capture Ragheed instead.

The captain goes to the police station and tells the detective that Ragheed has returned with him on the ship from Beirut and is ready to testify in Abdel Karim's case. Ragheed warns Abbas against the captain.

The captain sets up a meeting between Ragheed and the police detective. Ragheed recounts the events of the day the incident occurred and tells him that he has seen with his own eyes that Abdel Karim has not murdered his wife.

After Ragheed returns to Beirut, he asks Saeed to set a date for his wedding to Hend. Ragheed returns back to his family and tells them he will never leave them again.
