Misbah wakes up on the news of the death of a young man in the neighborhood. Fattouh replaces Fawzia with another actress, so she complains to Misbah about what happened to her, then she talks to Arafa about being unemployed, and he promises her to find a job soon.

Sobhi offers Misbah to work with him as a passenger in the taxi to get rid of the complaints of other passengers. As Ziko offers Fawzia an opportunity to play the role of a journalist, the star of the work cancels Fawzia's role. Arafa beats Fawzia for refusing to give him money.

As Misbah goes to sing at a wedding, he discovers after singing that he went to the wrong wedding. As Hafiza reproaches Misbah for what happened, he divorces her. Ahlam talks with journalist Tarek about her intentions to retire.

As Hafiza returns to Misbah's house and reproaches him for divorcing her, he returns her to his matrimonial bond. Fawzia takes her son to the hospital after Arafa hit him during a quarrel with her. Misbah asks Arafa to leave the money of his wife, who struggles to earn it.

As Cyrilis goes to the church to spoil his ex-wife's wedding, the groom accuses Misbah and Cyrilis of trying to commit sectarian sedition. A passenger forgets his phone in Sobhi's car, so the latter sells it and Misbah takes from him half of the money and gives it to Fawzia to treat her son.

Ahlam asks Fawzia to work as her assistant until she gets the opportunity to act. Fawzia returns home and discovers that Arafa has cheated on her with Saniya, so she attacks Arafa and is arrested by the police.

Misbah and Sobhi go to Ahlam and tell her what happened to Fawzia. Arafa denies cheating on Fawzia with Saniya. After Fawzia is sentenced to 7 months in prison, Fawzia's mother dies, and Misbah hides the matter from her. Saniya offers Arafa to marry her.

Fawzia asks Misbah to ask for a divorce from Arafa, who asks for money, upon which Misbah threatens him to file a khula case, so he divorces her. After Fawzia gets out of prison and discovers her mother's death, she gets a big role after the actress who was nominated for the role apologized.

Fawzia refuses to complete her role, believing that Jalal wants to replace her with Suzy. Misbah begins working with Arafa. Adel nominates Fawzia to perform the role of a secretary.

Misbah and Fawzia confess their love for each other, but Fawzia resents Misbah's work with Arafa, so he tells her that he worked with him to get money for her and her children. Sobhi rejects Misbah's marriage to Fawzia.

Othman wins the case and apologizes to Misbah in front of the people of the neighbourhood. After Misbah and Fawzia marry without Sobhi's consent and go to Alexandria, Hafiza discovers the matter and exposes him in the neighbourhood.

Hafiza asks Misbah for a divorce, otherwise she will file a khula lawsuit, upon which he divorces her. Ahlam asks Ziko to watch Jalal and tell her what he is doing. The people of the neighborhood apologize to Misbah for what happened to him and Fawzia.

Misbah asks Arafa to mediate with a hotel manager to perform palmistry act for the guests. Hafiza asks Fawzia to convince Misbah to return her to his matrimonial bond. Ahlam asks for a divorce from Jalal after she saw him with Suzy.

Misbah predicts Ahlam's divorce and Cyrilis' triumph in the case. As Misbah doubts that Fawzia has taken the contraceptive pill, she is saddened by his doubting of her.

Ahlam confronts Jalal with his production of a movie for Suzy. Fawzia cries because she is being ill-treated during the filming. As the church rejects Cyrilis' demands, Huda writes about him and about Olga's problem with her husband.

After Ahlam's movie fails at the box office, she catches Jalal with Suzy and asks for a divorce. Misbah becomes famous for palmistry and fortune telling.

Huda separates from Raouf. Jalal scolds Suzy for leaking the news of his divorce from Ahlam to the press. Saeed offers Misbah to have half a page for him in the newspaper. Misbah suffers from Fawzia's absorption in her work and her neglect of him.

Hafiza accuses Fawzia of casting a spell against her so that she does not have children. Misbah begins his work in journalism. Ahlam tries to return to work by producing a new film for herself.

The producers evade responding to Ahlam. Sobhi threatens Misbah after he refused to help him to buy a new taxi. The police go to Misbah's house and arrest him on charges of witchcraft. Sobhi advises Fawzia to separate from Misbah.

The prosecution accuses Misbah of communism. As demonstrations take place, Raouf and Salah are arrested, and the prosecution turns Misbah to State Security Court.

Misbah is imprisoned in Tora prison on charges of overthrowing the regime. Huda tries to conduct a press interview with Misbah. After Cyrilis wins the appeal case, he obtains a marriage permit from the church, and informs Olga about it.

Misbah tells Raouf that he is the coordinator of "The Bread First" movement. Fawzia shoots a movie with Hadi after she gets a big role. Hafiza brings the lute to Misbah in prison after he asked her to.

Ahlam talks with Kamal about her intention to retire from acting. Huda's article is published about Misbah's accusation and imprisonment, so he and the members of "The Bread First" movement are released for lack of evidence. Suzy gets angry about Hadi's closeness to Fawzia.

Saeed tells Misbah that he is providing a room for him in the newspaper and appoints a private secretary to manage his business. After Misbah advises Ahlam to retire, he rebukes Fawzia for not visiting him and not receiving him when he got released.

After Fawzia underestimates Misbah for his work in palmistry and fortune telling, Ahlam reconciles them. Misbah answers Fawzia's phone, discovering that the caller is a man, and begins to doubt her.

As Hadi tells Fawzia of his love for her, he nominates her for a new starring role. Ahlam is saddened by the death of Kamal in her villa. Suzy asks Jalal to announce their engagement.

As Fawzia gets the lead role, and signs the contract for the film, she changes her name to Fifi Hadi. Misbah discovers Fawzia's pregnancy and her desire to have an abortion. Ahlam gets angry because of Saeed's refusal to publish her article about her opinion on art.

Hadi makes Fawzia choose between her pregnancy and her old life with Misbah or her new life as a famous star. Misbah learns from Suzy about Fawzia and Hadi's relationship. Misbah confronts Fawzia that Hadi nominated her for the starring role and that he gave her his name to be Fifi Hadi.

Fawzia begins to be condescending to everyone around her. Ahlam goes to a psychiatrist for depression treatment. Suzy asks Ziko to watch Hadi and Fifi.

Saeed suggests on Huda and Misbah to make a book entitled "This Is What Misbah Said". Fawzia loses her baby. Misbah advises Ahlam not to resort to treating her depression with electricity sessions. Saeed suggests on Misbah to work on a satellite channel.

As Misbah listens to Fawzia confessing her love to Hadi, he divorces her. Othman dies during a kidney transplant. After Misbah's first book is published, he begins working in the channel. Hadi deceives Fawzia and evades her.

Huda gets angry because of Misbah's words about the press in his program and her discovery that he exploits religion in his favour. Fawzia goes to the charlatan Murjan to get Hadi back to her. Misbah shoots to fame through his TV show.
