Yacoub is upset that Badria and her daughter Zain are interested in the composer Talal. Badria tells Yacoub to keep his feelings for her separated from the work they are doing. Tayem is furious when he discovers that his cousin seized his money. Heba is upset over her husband Khaled's distance.

As Badria tries to get close to Talal, Zain starts to fall for him. Talal confides in Tayem about his worry about these relationships. Heba continues to suffer from Khaled's indifference.

When Um Jassem mistreats Salah, Um Abdullah grows upset when she sees him alone. Khaled fights with Heba when he discovers that she is watching him.

Talal's mother advises her son not to lead Badria on. Khaled refuses to allow Heba to get a job. At Tayem's school, one of the parents complains about Tayem. Um Abdullah learns that Um Jassem has been taking care of Salah since his father's death.

As Dr. Tarek passes out at work out of exhaustion. Dr, Dala' takes care of him. Zain passes on an opportunity to sing on the radio. Um Abdullah files a complaint against Um Jassem. Khaled offers to divorce Heba.

Heba's mother tries to convince her to get a divorce since Khaled can't have kids. Talal's mother refuses to let her son marry Zain because of Talal and Badria's tense relationship.

As the complaint against Tayem gets investigated, Badria tells her friend that she loves Talal. Khaled's father admonishes him for how he is treating Heba. Khaled decides to leave the country for a while to get some distance from Heba.

Zain is upset with the way her mother is treating Talal and her continued interference in their work. Um Jassem is distressed when the school starts asking questions about how she treats Salah. Um Abdullah tries to get the foster care involved in Salah's case.

As Asmaa looks for her father, Um Abdullah tries to help her. Salah's teacher keeps an eye on Um Jassem. Talal reconsiders his resignation. Zain starts recording her new show. Fahd considers selling his shop behind his wife's back.

When Heba informs Um Abdullah that the care home is asking about her, Um Abdullah tries to ask around about the identity of Asmaa's father. Talal prepares for a show at the university. Heba enlists the help of a psychiatrist.

Fahd's wife insists on reinstating the secretary that he fired. Um Jassem beats Salah when she learns that he complained to the care home. Talal's mother tries to get him to wed as soon as possible to prevent an escalation to the relationship between him and Badria.

The care home is unable to prove Um Jassem's abuse. Um Jassem complains to Khaled that his wife tried to get her in trouble. Fahd's wife hires Khamis to be Fahd's assistant.

Khaled fights with Heba over her involvement in the allegations against Um Jassem. Zain is surprised when her mother comes to the university's show. Badria meets Fahd and agrees to work with him.

Um Abdullah receives information about Asmaa's father. The shocked Tayem learns that he has been fired. Badria meets up with Fahd to discuss their collaboration.

Talal is annoyed that Badria keeps trying to get close to him. When Dala' misdiagnosis Zain, her colleague Tarek asks for new tests. Fahd asks Khamis to help him with his new endeavor with Badria.

Fahd supports Zain's radio show. Um Abdullah discovers that Fahd is Asmaa's father. Talal decides to marry Zain. Dala' discovers that Zain has cancer.

When Sara informs Talal of Zain's illness, he decides to wed Zain as soon as possible. Badria is shocked when Talal asks for Zain's hand. Um Abdullah finds out that the care home couldn't prove Um Jassem's abuse.

Talal and Zain get married and he takes her abroad to seek treatment. Asmaa goes to her father's office to meet him but reconsiders and leaves before seeing him.

Zain's surgery fails. Khamis kicks Asmaa out of the company when she comes to meet her father.

Um Abdullah threatens to report Fahd to the police. The doctor tells Talal that Zain's cancer is in a late stage. Dala' talks to Sara about marrying Tarek.

As Zain's condition deteriorates, she decides to return to Kuwait. Tarek agrees to marry Sara but her mother objects to the way they met. Um Abdullah tries to get Fahd to acknowledge Asmaa.

Zain returns home. When the care home discovers that the identity of Asmaa's father has been leaked, the police gets involved. Heba informs Khaled of her wish to adopt a child.

Talal's mother informs him that Tarek wants to marry Sarah. Fahd tries to keep the truth about Asmaa hidden. Zain is transferred to the hospital.

Talal informs Badria that Zain will start chemotherapy. Um Abdullah is called in by the school principal who wants to question her about Asmaa's case. Tayem loses the lawsuit against the university.

Zain is released from the hospital. Fahd proposes to Badria and promises to divorce his wife. Um Abdullah asks for Badria's help.

As Heba submits adoption papers behind Khaled's back, he searches her computer for clues on what she is doing. Dala' dies in a car accident. The care home investigates Salah's injury and moves him back into the home.

Um Abdullah advises Heba's family to get her a lawyer since she is the one who hit and killed Dala'. Fahd tells Badria that Asmaa is a fraud who is falsely claiming to be his daughter. Badria tells Zain that she loves Talal.

As the care home arranges for Salah to go to new parents, Badria discovers that Zain has contracted Hepatitis C. Um Abdullah tells Fahd that things will be much worse for him if he doesn't acknowledge Asmaa.

Tarek rescinds his proposal to Sara. Um Abdullah tries to convince Asmaa to take the money Fahd offered her to keep her paternity a secret. Fahd refuses to pay the amount of money that Um Abdullah insists on.

Fahd's wife fires her husband and promotes Khamis. Badria confronts Fahd on his refusal to acknowledge Asmaa. Khaled divorces Heba. Um Abdullah is imprisoned. Zain succumbs to her illness.
