As Bashar tries to investigate who stole the morphine vials, he decides to meet with his daughter Soheir's boyfriend to find out his intentions towards her. After Fo'uad, Lamis's husband, decides to marry his girlfriend in secret, he tells her about the pregnancy of his first wife.
As Bashar puts the final touches on the pro bono department at the hospital, he meets Soheir's boyfriend, but he does not ask for her hand. When Hanan makes sure that Soheir's boyfriend has no intention to marry her, she decides to meet him alone.
Soheir faints after Bashar slaps her. Saber is assaulted with a knife, and the doctors at the hospital try to treat him. He recovers as he gets ready to return home.
