Kamal's wife admonishes him for not caring about her and the house as he only cares about himself and his work. As Hamad is stingy and loves to collect money, his wife invites his brother to dinner and takes money from him to cook for his brother, while his kids are afraid of his harsh treatment.

As Hamad beats his son, his wife quarrels with him and asks him to be gentle with his children as she also has a daughter from a previous marriage, whom he treats badly, and the girl got sick. Murad meets his friends at the café and talks about how he wants to marry the perfect girl.

As Scheherazade goes to school after her mother calms her down a bit, Murad sees her passing by on the street and admires her. When Hamad returns, he finds her studying in his room, so he starts shouting, throws her books, and kicks her out.

Scheherazade visits her cousin, who welcomes her a lot. Murad has a small argument with his brother due to the failure of the shop project which he inherited from his father. Anisa meets her friend in the café, and by chance, Scheherazade sees her, whereupon Anisa asks her not to tell anyone.

Hamad quarrels with Scheherazade and beats her while she is sitting for dinner with her family. Scheherazade goes to her relative's house, but she does not find her, so the neighbor lets her in. After Samir sees Scheherazade, he asks his sister about her, and she tells him about her identity.

Scheherazade decides to go home but is sad because of the harsh treatment that awaits her, while Samir feels sorry for her. Kamal wants to sell the big house that he and his brothers inherited from his father, but his brother objects. Hamad wants to beat his son Walid, but the young man stops him.

Murad talks with Scheherazade before she goes and feels attracted to her. Kamal's mother returns to her home with the children after they agreed not to sell the house. As Hamad gets ready for Friday prayer, his wife tells him that meeting God requires having a pure heart, not having good clothes.

As Hamad lends Murad a large sum of money to finance his shop, Murad is very grateful to him. Scheherazade has not yet gone to her mother and is still with her relatives, while Murad lives with them and is very happy to have her around.

Kamal and his wife come to take Scheherazade, who is sad because she's grown used to the family that hosted her in the time of hardship, while Murad also grieves for her departure. Scheherazade's mother cries for her daughter's departure, while Hamad's niece tries to annoy her.

As Scheherazade moves to Kamal's house, she meets Hossam, whom she does not like at all, but he does. Scheherazade is plagued by several nightmares as all the problems she has been through go through her mind.

As Kamal enlists Scheherazade's help in his theatrical work, she listens to him and participates in acting with him, while her mother Samira is in a permanent state of sadness, and her husband does not care. Hossam signs an important business partnership contract with a client.

Amal goes to Anisa to sew a dress for her cousin's wedding. She also meets Scheherazade, and they remember their problems. Kamal goes to visit his wife in the hospital, and the nurse does not tell him about her whereabouts, upon which he is stunned.

While Kamal waits with the nurses until his wife comes, he treats them nicely and talks about his work with passion. When he returns home, his wife notices that he's having a problem with his work and tries to console him. As Anisa meets her cousin Karim at home, Samira scolds and quarrels with her.

Samira asks her son Walid to come home, so he assures her that he'll come back and asks her to visit her daughter, Scheherazade. As Kamal is in a bad psychological state and his wife is sad for him, Scheherazade tries to stand by her and comfort her. Walid starts smoking and sleeping in the shop.

Scheherazade studies a lot in order to succeed in the baccalaureate, go to university, and improve her life, but she is very sad about her mother's situation. Amal visits Samira and asks her to deliver some things to Scheherazade, while Anisa grows jealous. Murad's shop begins to thrive.

Scheherazade quarrels with Kamal's brother because she refuses to marry him, so he insults and beats her. In the morning, Kamal's wife goes to Scheherazade's school to look for her as she has been worried about her all night, and Scheherazade tells her what happened to her.

Scheherazade goes to her mother and is happy to see her and her little brother, and Samira gives her the clothes that Amal gave her. While Hossam talks badly about Scheherazade to his friends, his sister hears him and gets angry at him. Hamad returns from traveling and meets his friends at the café.

As Hossam deals with a gang that steals phones, he and his friend buy from them and then sell the phones, but one of his girlfriends hears their conversation and is taken aback. Samira visits Kamal's wife at her place and wishes that she give birth to a child who'd fill her life.

Souad visits Samira who's very happy with her, and Kamal's wife comes. As Scheherazade is happy she has good people in her life, Anisa grows jealous, especially after her father forces her to agree to a suitor while she loves her cousin, and she accuses Samira of being the reason to get rid of her.

As the relationship between Scheherazade and Murad strengthens, Hossam sees them, insults her, and tries to slap her, but Murad stands up to him and asks him to leave. As Kamal suffers from financial problems, his wife tries to help him without selling the family home. Anisa still rejects the suitor.

Hossam tells Hamad about Scheherazade's relationship with Murad. Karim tells Anisa that he loves her as his sister, that he does not want to marry her, and that she has to accept the suitor. Scheherazade grows suspicious when she sees her neighbor's daughter in a car with a young man.

Anisa is in a terrible psychological state. After Amal changes her style and meets a young man who likes her, she reciprocates and informs Scheherazade, who confesses to her that she loves Murad. Hossam manipulates his girlfriend, Scheherazade's neighbor, and asks her to stay away from him.

When Hamad enters the house and finds Scheherazade, he tells her that he is aware of her relationship with Murad, and her mother asks her to go to Souad's place. Anisa prays to God to marry Karim. Nasser asks Hossam for the money for the phones he took, but he tells him he still doesn't have it.

As Anisa changes and becomes kind, she admonishes her father, who suffers a hand paralysis, in order to be kind to his children so that God will love him. Scheherazade marries Murad, while Hamad bears the wedding expenses.
