Saeid intervenes to pay off a debt to Hajj Sultan in exchange for the promissory note that he gave him. El Ghoul warns Saeid about dealing with Sultan.

As Saeid threatens Azzam that Sultan will fire him for neglecting his work, he makes a deal to buy a new villa. Fawzy and El Qersh carry out a new smuggling operation.

With Kaan's help, El Qersh floods the market with smuggled food for low prices. Chaos breaks out as people fall ill. Saeid's mother admonishes him for divorcing Qutum after a fight over her care for their daughter Safaa.

The police raid the market and search the stores to find the spoilt goods. Saeid receives a mysterious shipment for Sultan, who tells him about what happened at the market and plots with him to find out the culprit.

Sultan and Saied lock Kaan and Egga up. Qutum's ex-husband, Atef, visits her and offers Azzam a job. Saeid ruins Qutum's hopes of getting back together with him. Abu Qersh looks for a way to turn Sultan's assistant against him.

As she looks for Kaan, Noga meets Saeid, who releases Kaan. Qutum is surprised that Azzam has money, which he got from working with Kaan.

El Qersh gives Azzam money in exchange for the keys of Sultan's stores. Qutum is saddened that Saeid insists on divorcing her. Kaan, Egga, and El Qersh break into Sultan's stores and put a box inside; Hondouq witnesses what they did.

As Saied and Sultan find a box containing fake dollars in the store, they get rid of it before the police arrive. When Saeid discovers that Azzam is the one who gave up the keys, he beats him. Saeid's disabled son, Safwan, falls down the stairs.

Saeid kicks Kaan and Azzam out of the market. Sultan warns El Ghoul against working with El Qersh. As Sultan falls ill, he gets Saeid to take over his work. Qutum grows angry when Nagat visits Saeid.

While Saeid is in Alexandria, Kaan returns to the market, prompting Saeid to send his men to beat Kaan and sabotage El Qersh's merchandise. Saeid makes a deal with David.

When the police arrest Kaan for causing trouble, Nagat enlists Saeid's help to get him released. Upon his release, Kaan beats Nagat and decides to marry her off to Egga, but Nagat runs away and seeks shelter in Saeid's house.

Noga helps Saeid's mother with the housework. As Kaan continues to look for Noga, Qutum gets jealous of Noga's presence in Saeid's house. Qutum goes with Azzam to her ex-husband, Atef, in an attempt to get him to give Azzam a job.

Qutum refuses to get back together with Atef in exchange for him hiring Azzam. When Qutum insults Noga, Saeid intervenes to defend the latter. Qutum learns that Noga ran away from her brother's house and reveals her location to Kaan.

As Kaan causes a scene at Saeid's house, Saeid announces that he wants to marry Noga, only for Sultan to disapprove of the marriage and prevent Saeid from keeping his promise, leaving Noga to deal with the scandal.

As Aziza intervenes to convince Sultan to approve Saeid and Noga's marriage, they get engaged, but Kaan stipulates that he must be allowed back in the market.

During Saeid and Nagat's wedding, Qutum tries to kill herself, but Saeid saves her and takes her to the hospital, stirring up trouble between him and Nagat. El Qersh and Fawzy prepare for a new operation in the wake of Kaan's return to the market.

Saeid convinces Noga that he loves her. Qutum takes her children to her apartment behind Saeid's back. With Kaan keeping Nagat's dowry at home, El Qersh convinces him to partner up with him. Fawzy gives Kaan money to buy El Ghoul's store.

Saeid quarrels with his mother over his children's residence with Qutum, who continues to stir up trouble for Saeid. Saeid and Sultan try to carry out a mysterious operation. El Qersh forcibly seizes El Ghoul's store.

When El Ghoul learns of Fawzy's deception, he forces him to pay compensation. As Qutum hires a lawyer to get her children's custody, she continues to provoke Nagat. Saeid is surprised that Kaan has bought El Ghoul's store.

As Kaan becomes wealthy and pays off his debts and that of the rest of the shop owners to Sultan, they ally with him and turn on Sultan and Saeid. The lawyer, Sherine, visits Aziza and Nagat in an attempt to reconcile Saeid and Qutum.

When Egga reveals to Saeid that Kaan is working with El Qersh, Saeid threatens to divorce Nagat if she visits Kaan. El Qersh warns Fawzy that Saeid may expose him. Kaan opens his store.

Qutum sues for her children's custody. Sultan hides a picture of him with El Ghoul, Fawzy, and his own father. Sobhy and his colleague interview Safwan. Fawzy digs a tunnel and breaks into Sultan's store.

Sultan vanishes in the wake of Fawzy's confrontation with him at the store. When Saeid finds the safe open, he finds Sultan's picture and confronts Warda about it.

Warda asks Saeid to close the store and give her Sultan's things, only for them to learn that Sultan left a will, leaving all his fortune to Saeid in the case of his disappearance.

Warda joins forces with Fawzy to get rid of Saeid. When Qutum loses the case, she flirts with Kaan to make Saeid angry. Emad El Ghoul tries to find out who swindled his father.

Saeid informs Sobhy that he and Sultan were trading in antiquities, which makes it hard to report Sultan's disappearance to the police. Kaan and Qutum get married, much to Saeid's anger. Nagat leaves Saeid's house.

Saeid offers to leave Kaan to do whatever he wants at the market in exchange for revealing Fawzy's location. David gets angry that Saeid is delaying the delivery of the statue. Qutum postpones setting a date for her wedding.

Saeid reconciles with Nagat and questions El Ghoul about Fawzy, asking him to make a copy of the stolen statue. Fawzy reveals the past to Saeid, informing him that Tawfik was killed during a smuggling operation, leaving Fawzy to be arrested as Sultan stole the money.

As Saad sends men to beat Kaan and destroy his shop, he steps in to stop the assault to win Kaan's gratitude. Fawzy warns Kaan against lying to him after learning that Kaan has been selling some merchandise behind his back. As he joins forces with Doma, Fawzy tries to get Saeid to work with him.

As Qutum continues to avoid setting a date for the wedding, Kaan beats her and she asks Saeid for help, which stirs up trouble between him and Nagat. Doma sets Sultan's store on fire. Warda quarrels with Fawzy for burning the store.

As they fight over Kaan, Saeid beats Nagat. When Fawzy kills Kaan, Saeid finds the body and gets arrested after Nagat sees him. The police inform Saeid that they found Sultan's body in the store after receiving an anonymous tip.

When the police question Saeid, Nagat testifies against him. As Fawzy meets Saeid's lawyer and makes a deal with him to abandon Saeid, he asks Warda to sue Saeid to get control of Sultan's properties.

As Saeid looks for a way to prove his innocence, he uncovers historical facts about the statue. David kidnaps Safwan to put pressure on Saeid, leaving the latter to figure out a way to break out of prison.

As Saeid breaks out of prison, he goes to El Ghoul for help. Saeid manages to save Safwan and bring him home after receiving the fake statue.

Saeid smuggles his family and Qutum to Cairo before he divorces Nagat. As David and Fawzy meet to deliver the original statue, Saeid crashes their meeting. As the police arrive, Saeid is killed and the statue is lost at sea.
