Abu Radh (Radh's father) is a mailman who uses his job to sell various products to different employees. Angham quarrels with her husband over his meager salary. As Madloul and Awaad collaborate to write poetry and produce songs, Madloul admonishes Radh for opposing Madloul's marriage to his sister, Ahlam.
Abu Radh convinces Soliman to embezzle so that he could meet his wife Angham's demands. But when Soliman gets arrested, Angham asks for a divorce.
As both Awaad and Abu Radh propose to Angham, she agrees to wed Abu Radh. Umm Radh (Radh's mother) learns that her husband has taken another wife. Hessa tries to convince Angham to have children to guarantee that Abu Radh won't leave her.
Angham asks Abu Radh to allow her son, Dawoud, to live with her in the house. Umm Radh grows jealous of Angham, who takes a trip with Abu Radh.
As Saleh gets released from prison, he asks Madloul for some money to start over. Abu Radh agrees to partner up with his manager.
As Angham asks Ahlam to convince Soliman to let Dawoud stay with her, Ahlam asks her to get Abu Radh to approve her marriage to Madloul. Abu Soliman (Soliman's father) decides to take revenge on Abu Radh for getting the former's son imprisoned. Saleh tries to convince Abu Radh to run the coffee shop.
Abu Radh makes a deal to work with the singer Marzouqa and Abu Ghazy (Ghazy's father). Abu Radh's father passes away. Saleh tries to convince Abu Radh to agree to Ahlam's marriage to Madloul.
Abu Radh informs Marzouqa that Abu Ghazy wants to marry her. Noqoshy talks to Saleh about marrying a maid from the maid service so that they could do a project together. Hessa tries to drive a wedge between Angham and Abu Radh by claiming that Abu Radh wants to marry Marzouqa. Madloul gets robbed.
Madloul tries to convince Ahlam to get Abu Radh to sell the house and give her her share of the inheritance. As Radh composes songs for Marzouqa, Abu Radh duets with her.
Abu Radh opens a shop to sell vegetables. Angham complains to her father that Abu Radh has changed as he refuses to help raise her son, Dawoud. Ahlam quarrels with her brother when she asks for her share of the inheritance. Soliman gets released from prison.
Radh opens a barbershop. As Abu Ghazy passes away, Marzouqa mourns him and asks Abu Radh to give her Abu Ghazy's properties. Solima enlists Saleh's help to find a job. Angham's aunt tries to convince Angham to divorce Abu Radh so that she could reunite with Dawoud.
As Abu Radh gives Soliman a large sum of money to make up for his imprisonment, he asks for Marzouqa's hand for his brother, Saleh. Angham asks Abu Radh for a divorce. Awaad dissolves his partnership with Abu Radh.
As Saleh asks Abu Radh to give Marzouqa's money back to her, Abu Radh forges documents proving that she sold him all her properties. Radh informs his mother that he wants to get married.
As Marzouqa reports Abu Radh's theft to the police, Abu Radh confesses to Saleh that he did seize Marzouqa's money. As Abu Radh considers leaving the country, his wife and son look for him. The police arrest Abu Radh.
