As Abu Nasser (Nasser's father) invites his friend Saoud to a night party to recite some poetry, a fire breaks out at one of the tents. Saoud manages to save his wife and son, but his face gets badly burned, leaving his wife to consider divorce. Nasser takes over the management of Saoud's company.
Nadia insists on a divorce unless Saoud writes the company and house over to her. Abu Ahmed informs Abu Moghazy that he wants to marry his maid and go to India with her. Adel sets his colleague Hany up by telling Nasser that he stole the checks from his office. Abu Nasser gets cancer.
As years pass, Abu Nasser dies. Soliman grows up and goes to college, where he meets Hayat, Abu Ahmed's daughter. Soliman's mother asks him to pressure his father into giving him a procuration to replace Nadder. Adel and Nadia plot to steal important documents from the company.
In the wake of Adel's plot, Nasser fires Hany, but the guard Madbouly reveals the truth. As Soliman tells his mother that he has feelings for Hayat and gets engaged to her, he asks his father to make him the manager of the company.
Nadia convinces Soliman to use the procuration to have ownership of his father's properties, advising him not to tell his father about his marriage. Nasser gets fired after Adel replaces him at the company. Abu Moghazy tells Saoud of what his son has been doing and what has been happening at the company.
As Soliman and his wife kick Nasser and Abu Moghazy out of the house, his father finds out that he took ownership of everything. Moghazy's mother tells Nadia what happened.
Saoud asks his son to rehire Nasser. As Soliman evades his mother when she asks for money and kicks her out of the house, he moves his father into a retirement home. As Abu Moghazy reveals to Soliman that his father sacrificed himself to save him, Soliman regrets his actions. Saoud passes away.
