Gaber works as a bus conductor which makes him miss his lectures, while Safinaz works as a music teacher for his son. Karim returns from his travels hoping to marry Safinaz despite her refusal.

Safinaz admires Gaber's poems, which makes Karim jealous. Safinaz's family is saddened when their daughter rejects the wealthy guy, Karim. Faramawy hides the court ruling that states his first wife's entitlement to take the furniture of the house rather than his second wife, Fathia.

Ibrahim's grandmother worries about Gaber's desire to remarry after her daughter's death. Karim learns more about Gaber's personal life and becomes jealous when Safinaz uses Gaber's poems with the students.

Karim gets angry at Safinaz's refusal to drive her with his car and continues to take the bus. Safinaz invites Gaber to a concert at the school. After two thieves get on the bus, Gaber intervenes to warn the passengers.

Safinaz's family admires Gaber's cleverness and magnanimity. Faramawy executes the court ruling and moves the furniture without Fathia's knowledge. Ibrahim shines while playing at the party.

Fathia discovers that Faramawy lied about his ex-wife's furniture. Nermin offers Safinaz a job as a currency exchanger with her fiancé, Tariq.

Gaber meets the school's social worker. Faramawy and Gaber thwart a new pickpocket attempt on the bus. As Ibrahim visits Safinaz's house, her family thinks Gaber is rich. Gaber is injured while protecting Safinaz from thieves.

When Gaber is transferred to the hospital, his truth is revealed to Safinaz's family, and Nermin belittles him. Nazira gets angry because of what Gaber has been exposed to for Safinaz.

Safinaz's family visits Gaber; Karim gets angry when he hears Gaber's song that Safinaz composed during his visit; Gaber makes sure that Safinaz refused to marry Karim.

Ibrahim discovers his grandmother's incitement against Gaber and Shaarawy reveals to her that she is the reason for the death of their daughter during childbirth. Safinaz's family urges her to wed. Fathia seeks to secure her financial right from Faramawy.

Faramawy begins to work as a taxi driver for Fathia's brother. Tariq and Nermin ask Karim to intervene to end Safinaz and Gaber's relationship and create enmity between him and Gaber.

Safinaz finds out more about Nazira. Gaber asks Safinaz to marry him, which upsets Tharwat. Nazira continues to find out more information from Ibrahim about Gaber and makes him resent his father. Faramawy seeks to marry again.

As Safinaz attends Gaber's sister's wedding with Nermin, she tells Gaber of the date of his meeting with her parents. The neighbors are trying to persuade Ahmed's mother to marry again. Nazira leaves the wedding after Safinaz's arrival.

After Tariq threatens Nermin to break off the engagement in Gaber and Safinaz's marriage, Nermin threatens her sister to cut ties with her if that happens.

Faramawy's ex-wife tells Gaber that the thieves are planning to take revenge on them, and that she gave birth to a child from him without his knowledge. Karim warns Gaber of the rejection of Safinaz family to him and tries to change his decision.

Karim tells Safinaz about his visit to Gaber. After Gaber's visit to Safinaz's family, he reveals to them that Tharwat falsified the truth about his job; Tariq leaves their house after Gaber responds to his insults.

Hafiza reminds her husband of his past and his previous poverty. Ibrahim intervenes to reconcile between Gaber and Safinaz. Faramawy gets involved with the police while driving the car.

Faramawy makes sure that his ex-wife is telling the truth and discovers that Fathia is pregnant. Gaber's studies stop until the exams are scheduled. Nermin learns about Tariq's greed, as he involves Tharwat in shady business.

The gang tries to rob Faramawy, but he discovers their plan. Tharwat is happy with his new job with Tariq's friends. Nazira quarrels with Ahmed's mother and accuses her of trying to marry Gaber.

Faramawy quarrels with members of the gang. Ahmed suffers a psychological crisis, and Gaber seeks to solve it. Nermin's marriage is postponed until a company is established managed by Tharwat and a hidden partnership with Tariq's side.

Talking about marriage arrangements is postponed until Gaber graduates. Ibrahim passes the exams. Safinaz grows suspicious of her father's new job.

As Gaber and Safinaz get married, Nazira grows upset and decides to complete her scheme.

After Gaber and Safinaz's marriage, Nazira continues to spread her poisonous thoughts towards them in Ibrahim's mind, which makes him show violent behavior towards them. It's revealed that Fathia's pregnancy is a false one.

As Gaber beats his son because of his poor manners with Safinaz, Ibrahim flees to his grandmother's house and Safinaz discovers that she is pregnant, while Shaarawy tries to mend Ibrahim and Gaber's relationship.

Ibrahim runs away from the house to his aunt's, and his family worries sick. As Safinaz and Nazira quarrel, the former stays at her father's house until things calm down.

Hafiza visits Shaarawy's house. Safinaz reveals to Nermin that Tariq's close friend is nothing but a swindler, and she asks Gaber to discover the truth of the land sales procurations that Tariq brings to Tharwat.

As Nermin hides from Tariq her visit to Gaber, she sneaks into his office in his absence, steals the procurations and hands them over to Gaber for examination. After the procurations disappear, Tariq decides to escape.
