Hisham, a wealthy young man who owns a palace in which he hides a secret. He seeks to get closer to Hind, his neighbor, with the help of her bankrupt father Saeed. Hisham asks his sister Mona to live with him, and Saeed discovers the relationship between Samir, his daughter’s fiancé, and Wafaa.

Mona is surprised by the presence of Souad, the mysterious maid, in the house. Saeed issues a trust receipt to Hisham in exchange for his help, and Hind is surprised by Wafaa and Samir’s engagement.

Souad suffers a mysterious accident in the abandoned suite, and Saeed discovers that Samih is exploiting his nephew. Hisham tells Hind on their wedding day that he was the reason for her father and Samir's bankruptcy, and that he married her to avenge his sister.

Mona is surprised by Hind's collapse, and she nominates Samih as governor of the region. Hind is surprised by the presence of an unknown shadow in the garden that suddenly disappears as soon as she faints. She also hears the sounds of repeated screams at night coinciding with the storm.

Wafaa marries Samir according to Hisham's plan. Akram is surprised when the maid steals the maps for the restoration of the abandoned suite and prevents him from entering it. The doctor doubts Hisham's sanity due to the accident he suffered in the past.

As Hind is surprised when a strange woman enters her room, she becomes suspicious that there is something the doctor and the maid are hiding in the abandoned suite. Hisham puts a snake in his wife's bedroom to scare her, and he refuses Akram and Mona's marriage.

Hisham tells his wife that his sister Laila is the one who visits her at night. He also survives an accident after his car's brakes got tampered with. Samih dies in a car accident by an unknown person. As Hisham is disturbed by the good relationship between Hind and Laila, he's injured by a gunshot.

The doctor becomes sure of Hind's love for Hisham, who hides Laila's relationship with them from Mona. As the doctor is surprised when Laila sees who shot Hisham, he finds a trace in the garden of the person who tried to kill Hisham.

Samir seeks to cancel Hisham's guardianship over Samih's company to no avail. Laila's health condition improves thanks to Hind. Mona discovers that Laila is her sister. Wafaa continues to play her tricks on Hisham to make his wife jealous.

Hisham becomes certain that Samir was the one who tried to kill him. Hind asks to separate from Hisham, and Wafaa asks to separate from Samir. As Hisham asks Akram to restore the abandoned suite, he does not intervene when Hind expels Wafaa from the house.

Everyone is surprised by the news of Wafaa's death. Hisham refuses to report Samir for trying to kill him. Hind is suspected of killing Wafaa, and the doctor sends the inspector an anonymous letter telling him to monitor Samir.

Hisham decides to approve of Akram and Mona's marriage after renovating the abandoned suite. The inspector discovers that Samir has poisoned Wafaa, and Laila collapses when she sees Saeed, so Hisham expels him.

Hisham reveals to Hind the secret of Saeed's abandonment of Laila as his family rejected their marriage. Saeed recounts how his father deceived him into thinking that Laila had died so he'd marry someone else, and she goes crazy. Hisham learns Hind's pregnant. Laila recovers after she sees Saeed.
