The series tells the story of Saeed Abu Shakir and how he rose from nothing to become one of the most important families in the city. He fought a war against the Tahsuldar family, one of the richest families, because they refused to let him marry their daughter, Baraa, which caused him psychological pain. He entered into a conflict against them through trade.
