When Badara's sister passes away, Badara raises her niece's children. After Badara gets divorced, she marries her late sister's husband, Abbas. As the children grow up, Haroun and Nash'at fight over his sweetheart.

Shehab and Dina pass their exams. Kandil gives the tax employee an offer to work for Selim Al-Sokary. Haroun breaks down after his sweetheart's mother informs him that her daughter has gotten engaged to Nash'at.

Dina's mother tries to convince Dina to marry Al-Basiouny's son to bolster her father's business with Al-Basiouny, but Dina refuses out of love for Shehab. Kandil comes up with a plan for Selim Al-Sokary to evade taxes by giving the money to a proxy and dealing with the tax authority through that proxy.

Kandil convinces Badara to use his money to buy merchandise for her shop, but stipulates that he must be her partner and all official documents must bear her name. Haroun admonishes his brother Shehab for refusing to marry Dina.

When Shehab gets Dr. Ezzat to hear Haroun's voice, Ezzat suggests for Haroun to meet his friend who owns a recording company. Ehsan proposes to Loza, Badara's niece.

After a fight with Samra, her mother falls ill. Na'eima tells Haroun that her mother and her fiancé Nash'at are plotting to get rid of him. Selim Al-Sokary asks his daughter to allow Baher to get close to her and give him a chance.

When Badara asks to have Kandil's apartment for Loza, Selim tells Kandil to agree to her request, despite Kandil's initial refusal. Badara and Kandil sign their partnership contracts. Dina runs away and goes to Shehab, but when he refuses to leave with her, she returns home.

Dina promises not to run away again and agrees to meet Baher. Haroun gets shot while singing at Na'eima and Nash'at's wedding. Badara rushes Haroun to the hospital.

Nash'at tells the police that Haroun has drugs in his apartment, but Ehsan's mother hides the drugs that Nash'at planted there before the police arrive. Badara teaches her niece Samra a harsh lesson after she sees her with Dr. Ezzat.

Haroun gets released from the hospital. Selim refuses to wed his daughter to Baher and turns on Baher's father, Al-Basiouny. Badara slaps Nash'at after she learns that her warehouse burned down.

Haroun informs Badara that he signed on with a recording company. Samy Sharkas falls for Samra and asks Badara for her hand in marriage. Dr. Ezzat informs Badara that her husband Abbas is severely ill.

Samy marries Samra. Abbas gets admitted to the hospital for surgery and Dr. Ezzat sends him to the ICU to prepare for his surgery. When Loza collapses, she discovers that she is pregnant.

Haroun makes his first cassette tape. Abbas wakes up after the surgery to find his family around him. Dr. Ezzat tells Shehab about his wife whom he left abroad because of his health issues that prevent him from having children.

Ehsan discovers that Badara owes the tax authority a lot of money. When Badara learns about it, she realizes that Kandil implicated her in major violations and consults a lawyer. Samra returns from abroad.

Badara and her lawyer devise a plan to get her out of trouble. Without anyone's knowledge, Badara sends her husband Abbas to Samra's apartment. Badara's lawyer investigates what happened with her and learns that Kandil is behind it all.

Samra tells Loza about what her husband did to her abroad. Badara cancels the procuration and puts Selim's merchandise up for sale. Selim meets Badara for the first time, having a fight with her after she reveals that she knows the truth. Dina informs Selim that she loves a doctor who will propose to her.

Selim decides to visit Abbas and tell him that Badara refuses to give him his merchandise. Badara recounts the whole story to Abbas and promises to give the money back after paying the taxes. Kandil loses it when his money gets burned. Shehab proposes to Dina.
