Nafea helps a poor girl who asks for his help but leaves her a handkerchief with his name on it. His mother-in-law had written his name on all his clothes to keep tabs on him, suspicious of his behavior. Since then, Nafea has lived in constant anxiety, fearing that his wife, Samia, will discover the matter and suspect he is cheating on her.
