Abu Habash (Habash's father) rages at his sister, Sheikha, and his wife, Umm Habash (Habash's mother), for using electricity, after which he tries to steal the customers from his neighbor's shop, selling to them at a reduced price.
Abu Habash quarrels with his son over hiding the prize money of the competition he won, and on the other hand, Hamido agrees with Abdel Latif to draw up a plan to defraud Abu Habash and steal his money.
Abdel Latif tricks Abu Habash into thinking that he is a wealthy businessman, whereupon he asks to marry his sister, Sheikha.
Abdel Latif swindles Abu Habash, whose greed leads him to give him all his money, with which Abdel Latif escapes. Abu Habash suffers a stroke and is taken to the hospital, and his wife reports what happened to the police.
The police interrogate Abdel Latif, but the charges are not proven. Umm Habash is forced to work in the shop, and Abu Habash believes that the money in her possession is from his son's winning the football competition.
Abu Habash travels with his family to spend summertime by the sea, and there, he meets Abdel Latif and tries to catch him.
Abu Habash thinks of selling the shop in order to set up a new project, and Abu Dalal offers to buy it, but his wife rejects the idea, after which he quarrels with his son, Habash, over inviting his friends to the house.
Abu Dalal suggests to Abu Habash to sell the shop and open a café. The police return the money to Abu Habash, but his son takes it and gets into the car, upon which an accident occurs, and Abu Habash loses all his money again.
