Farida arrives in the neighborhood with groceries. Emad rushes to the hospital to check on Hanaa's daughter, Shahd, who tried to kill herself after her mother disapproved of her suitor. Deeb Al-Hady asks the tailor to finish his new suit quickly. Emad faces more trouble at his company.

Farida discovers that Deeb has spent both his pension and their late son's as well. Zuhair rents a room in the house of Abu Ghayath after he was kicked out of his old neighborhood due to his scandalous behavior. Mounir rushes his father to the hospital, where Nahed reveals that he has kidney failure.

Nahed warns Sanaa against her hopeless love for Essam. Zuhair drugs Fatma. Shahd stays out late at a nightclub. Mounir is at a loss as to how he will get the money for his father's surgery. When Hanaa asks Emad not to visit her at her company, he informs her of the corruption prevalent in there.

Khaled is saddened that his uncle refuses to wed him to his cousin. Hazem tells Qusai that he accidentally gave him a CD with pornographic films meant for a client. Badi' tells Emad that Hanaa is the solution to his problems. He devises a plot to tamper with her laptop to force her to help them.

Kenda's mother asks Khaled to stay in Syria instead of returning to the Golan. Farida wants to have Osama live with them in the house after marriage. Zuhair sells construction materials that he obtained through deceit.

Hanaa asks Hazem to stay out of his sister's life. Shahd tries to get close to her classmate Osama, who has a night job in a fast-food restaurant. Farida visits Nihad to sell her some bedding sets.

As Hanaa asks Radwan to end her business in Italy, her maid spies on her for Emad. Hazem rejects Qusai's suggestion to collaborate with Nazir. Hanaa is shocked to learn that a large amount of money was withdrawn from her account. Nahed asks Sanaa to stay away from the married Essam.

Mounir's wife questions him about the money he has despite their financial difficulty. Hanaa informs Shahd and Hazem that she is divorcing their father, who is always absent. Abu Ghayath asks for the money he gave Mounir. Fatma discovers that Zuhair is lusting after Nahed's daughter.

Farida informs her son that she is going to give everything she has to Safy's father to build him an apartment above their house. Sanaa urges Fatma to stand up for herself after Zuhair assaults her. Using an old procuration, Hanaa's ex-husband takes everything she has.

Zuhair tries to come onto Nahed's daughter. Deeb is furious when he finds young Safy smoking. Essam tells Emad about his relationship with Sanaa, but Emad already knows. Hanaa notices that the documents in her office have been tampered with.

When Mounir goes missing, Zeinab asks Qusai to look for him. Nahed looks after Mounir at the hospital after he is beaten by unknown assailants. When Sanaa tells Essam that they need to put an end to their deteriorating relationship, he tells her that he loves her.

Farida advises Nehad not to confront Essam about his affair. Hanaa discovers that the airline reservations in her company have been tampered with. As Shahd grows close to Osama, the latter grows concerned about their social differences. Emad asks Badi' to come clean to Hanaa about their scheme.

As Hanaa grows furious with Emad for tampering with the reservations, he confronts her about her abandonment of him for another man. Shahd looks for her missing golden bracelet. Nihad confides in Farida about her problems with Essam.

When Zuhair assaults Fatma again, Nahed refuses to get involved. Deeb takes charge of Safy's upbringing and education. Hanaa searches everywhere with Hazem after he storms out of the villa. Claiming to be a government official, Zuhair looks for construction sites to take bribes.

Nihad has a miscarriage. Emad forces Hanaa to work with them. Hazem agrees to work with Qusai to hack bank accounts. Sanaa asks Fatma to consult a doctor about her childbearing problems. Osama takes Shahd to his neighborhood to meet his parents.

Nahed leaves her daughter Amal in Fatma's care as she goes to work. Telling Fatma that her mother is in the hospital, Zuhair seizes the chance and rapes Amal. Tensions rise between Hanaa and Emad after he implicates her in their scheme.

Osama is angered that Shahd is drinking alcohol. When Nahed takes Amal to the doctor, he discovers bruises on her body. Hanaa tries to get close to Shahd and explains the reason she rejected her suitor. Emad gives Hanaa money for the airline reservations.

When Essam goes to Sanaa's house to ask after her, Nahed confronts him on the nature of their relationship. Deeb is so furious with Farida after she goes to UNRWA for aid that he has to be rushed to the hospital.

Zuhair beats Fatma after she accuses him of raping Amal. Farida sticks by Deeb's side at the hospital as the doctor is forced to amputate his leg. Essam grows furious with Nihad for staying out for too long with her phone turned off.

When Amal breaks down upon seeing Zuhair, Nahed guesses the truth and attacks him with a sharp object. As she is arrested, Sanaa urges her to report Zuhair. Emad regretfully reflects on his army days, before he got involved in illegal business.

Abu Ghayath questions Fatma about Nahed's assault on Zuhair. Badi' is concerned that Hanaa will turn herself and them in. When Shahd's father returns from abroad, he learns of Hazem's disappearance. He also tells Shahd that he is not going to divorce her mother.

Hanaa turns herself in. Nihad confronts Essam about his affair with Sanaa. Sanaa's father takes Amal to a psychiatrist. Fatma tells Sanaa that Zuhair got her addicted to drugs. It's revealed that Qusai is working for Emad and supplying him with the details of the bank accounts that Hazem hacks into.

Nahed berates Fatma for covering up for Zuhair. Essam tells Emad that Nihad left him because of his affair with Sanaa. Hazem learns that his father has come back and sold the villa. As Amal tries to kill herself, Sanaa's father steps in and saves her.

As Deeb's son Ramzy returns from Germany, he starts a new job with Abu Sallam. Osama weds Shahd. Emad advises Essam to divorce Nihad. Sanaa tries to help Fatma recover from addiction. A fearful Fatma refuses to testify against Zuhair.

Zuhair gets imprisoned. As Farida decides to continue with the construction works for Osama's apartment, Deeb refuses to let her borrow money from their son Ramzy. Fatma gives Sanaa the phone number of Abu Gom'a, whose daughter Zuhair came onto.

Sanaa tells Fatma that Abu Gom'a refuses to testify against Zuhair. Emad gets a warning that Qusai and Hazem are frauds. As Emad tries to get Hanaa released, Abu Sallam promises to help him once things settle down.

Qusai threatens to kill Nazih after he discovers that he is warning Emad against him and Hazem. Tensions rise between Shahd and Osama over her refusal to consummate their marriage. Farida tells Shahd about Nagia, who was abandoned by her children after they wed. Amal asks to return to her mother.

Sanaa's father informs her that Amal is recovering. Hanaa and Nahed grow close in prison and confide in each other. Shahd suggests to Nihad some ideas to improve their knitting work. The maid confesses to Shahd that she used to spy on them for Emad.

Fatma decides to testify against Zuhair. Hazem is shot. As Emad promises to take care of Hanaa, she informs him that Hazem and Shahd are his children. Zuhair admits to being a pedophile. Emad tells Shahd that he is her father.

Fatma moves into a women's shelter. Mounir disappears. As Ramzy comes onto Shahd, Osama quarrels with him and his parents turn on him. The building gets a demolition order, much to Abu Ghayath's shock. Essam kidnaps his children. Deeb passes away.
