Nasser's father tells him that Hamoud's inheritance is in his trusteeship to ensure Sa'adoun doesn't seize it for himself; he advises his son to return the money and find Saleh. Abu Nawaf (Nawaf's father) weds Al-Anud to Abdullah. It gradually shows how stony-hearted Shadad is.

Amash gets upset when Al-Anud accepts to marry Abdullah. The police station is left in turmoil when Khataf breaks out of prison.

It turns out that Khataf is one of Sa'adoun's men. Abdullah learns that his uncle Abu Shadad (Shadad's father) was a smuggler and that brought about his murder. In light of Khataf's escape from prison, Shadad is appointed as chief of police instead of Hemdan.

On Abu Tabar's orders, Khataf kidnaps Abdullah and murders him when the latter resists. When Amash proposes to Dana, Shadad interferes and threatens him.

After Shadad learns that his father took another wife before his murder, his stepmother asks him for her share of the inheritance. It turns out that unbeknownst to him, Abdullah was saved by Amash. Abdullah's father goes to Fintas to retrieve his brother's inheritance.

Nayef tries to find Abdullah and tells his father that the shooter is a person called Khataf. Shadad learns that his father was a smuggler. His stepmother Hosniya incites him against his uncle, claiming that he seized his father's inheritance.
