When the child Haitham flunks, his father Fayad complains to his uncle Bu Nimr Buqaqour that Professor Sayah gave him a weak grade due to his poor level, while the son of Jawhar, from the Bomalha family, succeeds. When Bu Nimr forges Haitham's certificate, Jawhar finds out and mocks them.
Dr. Fawzy works as a dentist in his clinic in Al-Kharba, and his uncle Bonayef sends him patients. But when Fawzy doesn't take any money from them, it causes him great losses and he decides to leave the town in the end.
When Bonayef falls off the mule, Fayad and Sam'an from the Bu Nimr family see him, and they call all the elders of the village to make fun of him. Sayah complains to Bou Nimr's uncle that Atef, Tawfiq's son, who is also Nada's fiancé, does not send or write letters to her.
When Atef sends a letter to his father telling him that he is coming to Syria soon, everyone is happy after learning the news. Tawfiq comes with sweets that Bu Nimr eats from and he has pain in his teeth. Bu Nimr sends Fayad, Tawfiq, and Sam'an to get him a painkiller from Dr. Fawzy.
As Bu Nimr prepares the house and clinic of his grandson Atef, he is forced to offer his land for sale due to insufficient funds. When Bonayef finds out, he gathers his family to have enough money to buy Bu Nimr’s land, but he refuses.
When Bonayef hangs a large banner for his family doctor, Fawzy, Bu Nimr decides to hang a bigger sign for his grandson Atef, who is studying medicine in France. But when he steals electricity from the public cable, Fayad gets electrocuted.
Gamil, Bu Nimr's son-in-law, comes and decides to settle in the village. Bu Nimr gets angry after learning that Fludia is coming with Malha's son from Bonayef family. Bu Nimr stops the bus that she is taking and takes her home, which angers Gamil.
When Tariq admires Fludia, Aboudy advises him to go to her father, who is known for his independence. Bu Nimr gets angry after learning about Melhem and Tariq's visit to Gamil and Ghatas's visit to Sayah; he sends Tawfiq to speak to them, but they reject him.
Bonayef asks Jawhar to go with him to reconcile Ghattas and Melhem, but after he succeeds in bringing them together in one place, they end up arguing with each other.

Bu Nimr tells his grandson Atef to practice human medicine on his family, so that Bonayef does not know the fact that he is a veterinarian. But the health office finds the truth, and Bonayef sends donkeys to Bu Nimr and asks him to make Atef treat them.
Bu Nimr thinks about getting Sayah's daughter Nada married, and tries to find a suitor for her. He can only think of Sam'an. He buys him a suit and tries to convince the girl to marry him, but she rejects it.
Ghassan asks the Bomalha family to marry Nada from the Buqaqour family, but her father asks that he brings his family to propose officially to his daughter. Ghassan goes to his grandfather Bonayef, who rejects the matter and is angry with him.

When Ghassan discovers that Al-Kharba is not found on the map, while other smaller villages are, the families of Bu Nimr and Bonayef meet and decide to go to the district director and complain to him, and they succeed in their mission.
The district manager asks the elders of Al-Kharba to choose a mayor for the village, so they decide to hold elections and the two families meet in secret to choose Sayah to be the mayor. When Bonayef and Bu Nimr find out, they decide that each of them would be the head of his family only.
When Bonayef tells false stories about Bu Nimr when they were young, Riad records the details on video. When Bu Nimr sees the video, he goes crazy and turns to their old mutual friend Num'an in order to make the truth known.
Akram discovers that his tire has been stolen, and some of the villagers find that many of their personal belongings are missing. The villagers try to discover who is the thief, but to no avail.
When Aboud discovers that his wallet and things from his shop have been stolen, he reports it to the police. He tells them that he suspects that Fayad is the thief, but the police discover that Num'an is the culprit and they arrest him.
After Fayad returns from the station, he finds out that the official’s cow has been stolen, so he is forced to hide in the mountain. When Fayad's wife pleads to Akram, who works for the official, he tells them that the official will not notice the disappearance of his cow.
When a stranger accidentally ignites the strife between the families of Bonayef and Bu Nimr, the two families start a war between them, until the man intervenes, in the end, to reconcile them.
When Tariq asks his uncle Melhem to go with him to ask for the hand of Fludia, Gamil’s daughter, Bu Nimr and Bonayef go to the head of the party and tell him that this marriage should not take place. The party leader contacts Gamil and Melhem and forces them to stop the marriage.
Gamil decides to separate from his party after going to Melhem to talk with him about matters related to the party. He decides to establish a party on his own, calling it 'The Peasants Party.'
After Num'an is released by amnesty, he returns to the village only to be rejected by his family. But when they find out that he's rich, they dissemble to him, until the police arrest him once again after they discover that he's an international conman.
Bonayef suggests to Bu Nimr that they ignite a war between the two families by claiming that some men quarreled with them. But when the two families discover the truth, they decide not to follow Bonayef and Bu Nimr again.
Sayah tells Ghassan that he agrees to wed him his daughter without an intermediary between them. Gamil agrees to marry Tariq to Fludia. Bonayef and Bu Nimr decide to put their differences aside and reconcile in order to regain their authority again.
