In an apartment complex, the stories and events of the residents intertwine, including a widowed Muslim mother who meets a businessman from Lebanon, a divorced mother who gets involved with a swimming coach, a religious Iraqi woman who is trying to protect her family, a married woman trying to find a way to have children with her husband, and a young writer suffering from psychological problems.
