Myriam and Wael's love story is spoiled by the entry of the millionaire Adeeb Farhat into Myriam's life, who asks for her hand from her father, Joseph Saeed, who works for him. After the father uses his daughter's studies as an excuse to postpone the marriage, Farhat appoints him as a storekeeper before accusing him of embezzlement, which makes the girl agree to marry him to save her father from prison. However, her suffering does not end, as in the palace, other conspiracies await her, hatched by her elderly husband's relatives, who decide to get rid of her.
